In Riding, Pardis Mahdavi meditates on the lessons learned over a lifetime of horseback riding and the falling, failing, and joy it brings. At once a history of Caspian horses, an exploration of Mahdavi's Iranian-American identity and family history, and a consideration of the capacity for self-reflection and self-compassion through human-animal relationships, Riding offers a roadmap for learning to live in harmony with the self and the environment around us. Mahdavi shows how her relationship with horses gives her insights into intergenerational strength and tools for healing intergenerational trauma. Riding from the mountains of Iran to the beaches of California, Mahdavi shares her love affair with horses, rediscovers a homeland she longs for, and ultimately finds her strength.

Given the growing success of this book, first published in 2009 and then updated in 2014, this third edition has been fully revised and updated by the author, incorporating the latest expressions of social chaos, instrumentalized by the powers that be for the past eight years.
How to become the masters of the world in the age of the Internet? The good-old method of the pyromaniac fireman still works. Renamed “shock strategy” or social engineering, it consists of plunging populations into crisis and anguish to better centralize order and power in the hands of an oligarchy usurping the identity of the savior. In the twentieth century, politics has moved from the art of persuasion to technical issues of hacking minds and optimizing group management. To that end, several disciplines and approaches are applied—cybernetics, marketing, management—to trap the masses into organized chaos, while they try to respond to the panic provoked by a transhumanist computer dictatorship based on biometrics, the all-digital, the vaccine pass, and eventually the suppression of cash and privacy.

The Sutra of 42 Chapters is a scripture complied in the first century CE.  Each saying comes from Buddha, but the whole work was a new anthology created especially for introducing Buddhism in a new country. That's why it makes such a good, basic introduction to the world view of Gautam Buddha.
It is very simple in its approach, very direct. It is, in essence the whole of Buddha's message, but very simple, not elaborate and very scholarly as other Buddhist scriptures are.
Osho extracts the kernel of Buddha's profound insight and understanding and presents his everlasting message to the contemporary listener in a manner that is lucid, straightforward and humorous. Far from being just a statue, here Buddha is an amazing human being so far ahead of his time that even now he is only just beginning to be more widely understood.
In these talks Osho discusses the need for doubt and argument in the spiritual search, the nature of desire and the discipline of non-attachment.
The talks in this audiobook are a series of original OSHO Talks, titled "The Discipline of Transcendence, Vol.2".

The Sosso Empire emerged during a period of great upheaval in West Africa, following the decline of the once-powerful Ghana Empire. The Sosso people, a group of warriors and rulers, capitalized on the weakening of Ghana to establish their dominance in the region. Their rise was marked by military aggression, strategic leadership, and a desire to control the lucrative trade routes that had long been the backbone of West African wealth.
The origins of the Sosso people remain somewhat obscure, but they were likely a subgroup within the greater Soninke-speaking population that had once formed the core of the Ghana Empire. As Ghana’s power waned due to external invasions and internal struggles, smaller states sought to assert their independence. The Sosso, led by a series of ambitious leaders, were among the most successful in carving out a new political and military identity for themselves.
One of the most defining moments in the rise of the Sosso Empire was the ascent of Sumanguru Kanté, a warrior-king whose leadership transformed Sosso into a dominant force. Sumanguru’s reputation as a ruthless and determined leader spread quickly. He capitalized on the disintegration of Ghana by taking control of its former capital, Koumbi Saleh, and imposing his rule over the surrounding regions. His conquest of Ghana marked a shift in power, with Sosso assuming the role of the dominant state in the region.

Dear White Peacemakers is a breakup letter to division, a love letter to God’s beloved community, and an eviction notice to the violent powers that have sustained racism for centuries.   Race is one of the hardest topics to discuss in America. Many white Christians avoid talking about it altogether. But a commitment to peacemaking requires white people to step out of their comfort and privilege and into the work of anti-racism. Dear White Peacemakers is an invitation to white Christians to come to the table and join this hard work and holy calling. Rooted in the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus, this book is a challenging call to transform white shame, fragility, saviorism, and privilege, in order to work together to build the Beloved Community as anti-racism peacemakers.   Written in the wake of George Floyd’s death, Dear White Peacemakers draws on the Sermon on the Mount, Spirituals, and personal stories from author Osheta Moore’s work as a pastor in St. Paul, Minnesota. Enter into this story of shalom and join in the urgent work of anti-racism peacemaking.
