Summary

George Scithers published AMRA, a leading sword and sorcery fanzine, beginning in 1959. The term "swords and sorcery" first appeared there, and AMRA became a leading proponent of the subgenre. Several of the articles originally published in AMRA were later re-printed as part of two volumes about Conan the Barbarian, which Scithers co-edited with L. Sprague de Camp. Contributors to the magazine included all the leading fantasists of the day: Poul Anderson, L. Sprague de Camp, Fritz Leiber, and many more.

What if you discovered that one of your relatives may have been murdered?
The estate of Rhinebeck has many secrets. Two friends are determined to find out the truth about the death of a relative, but when everyone from the guests to the staff has their own agendas, that proves much more difficult than they ever imagined. Secrets have a life of their own and what the two friends discover will irrevocably change the lives of everyone.
The award-winning debut novel of Ivan Obolensky, Eye of the Moon, is dramatically brought to life through the stellar performances of voice actors Carter Roy and Vanessa Richardson.
“It’s difficult to say which is more intriguing: the twists and turns of the plot or the cast of characters whose stories intertwine in truly unexpected ways. Even the dog is both hilariously entertaining and integral to the plot. The tale spans generations, uncovers family secrets, and is sprinkled with otherworldly influences and mystery.” -Judges’ commentary from the “Eric Hoffer Book Award”
“A gothic mystery set in 1977—involving the occult, stolen treasure, family secrets, and financial sabotage—Eye of the Moon is sumptuous in its description of white-tie dinner parties and sexual tensions with baronesses, and sharp in its maneuvering of several secret puzzles at once.” -IndieReader, 4.7 stars

Family secrets are locked away at the intimidating Virginia estate of a prima ballerina in this suspenseful tale from a New York Times–bestselling author.   Susan Prentice is a young nurse at a crossroads. She’s broken off an engagement, the father who raised her has just died, and now she’s leaving the western shores behind for a trip to her family’s home on Virginia’s Northern Neck—where she saw her mother fall to her death twenty-five years ago. There, Susan’s grandmother, former ballet diva Alexandrina “Alex” Vargas Montoro, proves a formidable sentinel for the family’s mysterious history.   At first welcomed by her long-estranged relatives, spied on by suspicious neighbors, and drawn to Peter, Alex’s handsome young doctor, Susan has nothing but questions. And for every answer, there’s a warning—and the fear that she has only Peter to trust in. But even the doctor’s past is shaded with murder. Soon Susan will discover that she alone holds the key to her mother’s suspicious death, hidden away in her shattered memories. And someone intimately close to her is prepared to bury the truth forever.  The Ebony Swan is a “carefully crafted novel of psychological suspense by . . . [a] Mystery Writers of America Grand Master” (Publishers Weekly).  This ebook features an illustrated biography of Phyllis A. Whitney including rare images from the author’s estate.

It’s Ray’s and Sandra’s first family holiday in Greece, on the island of Vasilema. The skies are cloudier than anywhere else in Greece, and they’re intrigued by local eccentricities—the lack of mirrors, the outsize beach umbrellas, the saint’s day celebrated with an odd nocturnal ritual. Why are there islanders who seem to follow the family wherever they go? Why do Sandra and the teenage grandchildren have strangely similar dreams? Has Sandra been granted a wish she didn’t know she made? Before their holiday is over, some of the family may learn too much about the secret that keeps the island alive.

On any day our paths would never cross. Then I was forced to go to the Ruthless Disciples. Every month they do something called the hunt. I didn't plan to ever attend an event, but I needed the money. I thought it was nothing more than an adult version of hide-and-seek. I had no idea how wrong I was. Nor did I know I’d meet my worst nightmare that night: Andrew “Drew” Marshall, popular-as-hell football star and a Greek god among mere mortals. To anyone else, he would appear to be normal, a good guy. But that night I saw the cruel, dark monster hidden underneath. He was the epitome of evil, the leader of the Disciples, and I was his newest obsession. This is a dark enemies-to-lovers romance with many triggers. It is a complete standalone that contains a happily ever after.
