Sinopsis

The idyllic boyhood shared by Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn has been just a memory. Time has passed and now, as adults, they are thrust into the worst sectional violence America has ever witnessed, a precursor of the Civil War, between abolitionist, activists, and pro-slavery proponents. A new time of mistrust, murder, and mayhem is the new norm. In this atmosphere of division and chaos, one bad decision changes their lives forever. They must depend on each other now more than any other time in their lives because everything they know and love has been swept away. As Confederate soldiers in this most trying time, loyalty to each other is all they have.

Charity Styles has been wandering the Pacific aimlessly aboard her beloved sloop, Wind Dancer, and only recently returned to the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Entering a secluded cove in the Sea of Abaco, in the Bahamas, she runs into an old acquaintance and the woman’s young daughter.
The two have a few things in common, not the least of which are four men’s bodies at the bottom of a 600-foot-deep blue hole on Hoffman's Cay. The reunion is fraught with “what ifs.” What if Charity had enjoyed a normal childhood like her friend’s young daughter? What if her mother hadn’t abandoned her as a child? What if her father hadn’t died when she was in college? What if Victor hadn’t been murdered?
Just as Charity begins to relax and truly enjoy the companionship of a good friend, disaster strikes. In an instant, she's faced with a terrible choice that will push Charity to her limits. Her action could mean the difference between life and death for both mother and daughter.
When Charity’s two worlds collide violently, a drug running operation is exposed, as well as a slick southern lawyer. Will Charity handle things in her usual way?

The last thing I expected to find in my dossier was sexy stockings, a plane voucher to London, and an invitation to dance at a gentleman's club. I'm a quiet museum curator for God's sake. No way, no how am I going to slide down a pole for a bunch of over privileged, narcissistic men—until I see Sean Fraser, my childhood crush, enter the establishment. Since I'm no longer that overweight teen with braces and mousey hair, there is no way he'll recognize me. Hmmm . . . Maybe I'll give him a fake name—and a private dance. That ought to make him finally notice me, right?

What the hell is Kennedy Lane doing sliding down a pole in a private Gentlemen's club? I'm not sure, and while I know she's hands off, I want her. I've always wanted her. She might have been too young for me back in the day. Now, not so much. Hands off leads to hands on after a private dance, and while Kennedy spends the weekend pretending to be someone she isn't, I know full well who she is. And I'm not quite ready to let her hang up her stockings when the show is over.

The Rioting of Inferno invites readers to delve into the darkest corners of the human psyche in a dazzling collection of stories that challenge the boundaries of reality and human morality. Written by 17-year old E.J. Cousins, hauntingly macabre tales such as "The Surgeon", "Resolution", "The Crying" and "The Masks of Stolen Skin" skilfully blur the line between the bizarre and the conceivable, the beautiful and the gruesome. Wonderfully narrated by David Kennedy. the spinetingling and mindbending tales that comprise The Rioting of Inferno will unsettle and linger long within you.

A reimagining of Dracula's voyage to England, filled with Gothic imagery and queer desire.

It's an ordinary assignment, nothing more. The cargo? Fifty boxes filled with Transylvanian soil. The route? From Varna to Whitby. The Demeter has made many trips like this. The captain has handled dozens of crews.

He dreams familiar dreams: to taste the salt on the skin of his men, to run his hands across their chests. He longs for the warmth of a lover he cannot have, fantasizes about flesh and frenzied embraces. All this he's done before, it's routine, a constant, like the tides.

Yet there's something different, something wrong. There are odd nightmares, unsettling omens and fear. For there is something in the air, something in the night, someone stalking the ship.

Thrown in prison for a crime he has not committed, Edmond Dantes is confined to the grim fortress of If. There he learns of a great hoard of treasure hidden on the Isle of Monte Cristo and he becomes determined not only to escape, but also to unearth the treasure and use it to plot the destruction of the three men responsible for his incarceration. Dumas' epic tale of suffering and retribution, inspired by a real-life case of wrongful imprisonment, was a huge popular success when it was first serialized in the 1840s.
VOLUME 2: The day after that in which the scene we have just described had taken place on the road between Bellegarde and Beaucaire, a man of about thirty or two-and-thirty, dressed in a bright blue frock coat, nankeen trousers, and a white waistcoat, having the appearance and accent of an Englishman, presented himself before the mayor of Marseilles.
