Sinopsis

What is Economic History

The study of history that makes use of some of the methodological techniques that are used in economics or that pays particular attention to economic phenomena is known as economic history. For the purpose of conducting research, a combination of historical methodologies, statistical methods, and the application of economic theory to historical conditions and institutions are utilized. It is possible for this profession to span a wide range of subjects, such as equality, finance, technology, labor, and business. It places an emphasis on historicizing the economy itself, including doing an analysis of the economy as a dynamic entity and making an effort to provide insights into the way the economy is constructed and imagined.

In the newly revised third edition of Demise of the Dollar: From the Bailouts to the Pandemic and Beyond, Addison Wiggin delivers yet another timely and insightful account of the devaluation of the American dollar. Fully updated to consider the events of the last ten years—including the COVID-19 pandemic—the book contains nuanced discussions of historic inflation, interest rates and the Federal Reserve, the impact the Euro has had since its introduction, the rise of China prior to the pandemic, cryptocurrencies, and the United States' consumer debt addiction.

You'll learn what a weakened American dollar means for your portfolio and how you can best arrange your finances to protect against global macroeconomic risks. You'll find strategies for making your portfolio more resilient against economic shocks, downturns, and crises; explorations of what increasing levels of US consumer debt mean for your investments, and for the world's largest economics; and more.

A fascinating account of one of the most important trends in American economics in the last hundred years, Demise of the Dollar offers incisive observations about the factors driving the world's contemporary economies and specific and strategic guidance on how to structure your portfolio to survive, and even thrive, in a new financial environment.

Passing Notes to Strangers, cold outreach, cold email, it can all be a real drag.
LinkedIn, X, email, snail mail, it doesn’t matter what platform you choose if nobody is getting back to you. Most of the people who pick up this book will be in sales, but everyone is passing notes to strangers.
We start young, kids passing notes in school.
We get older and pass notes to college admissions and potential employers.
We pass notes to recruit talent, secure funding, complete projects, and communicate with our community.
With all that practice, passing notes should be easy. And it can be easy, if you understand the fundamentals.
Collecting relevant information on your prospects and target market.
    Connecting with decision makers.
Crafting relevant messages that keep your audience informed and entertained.
Caring for your prospects with value added follow up.
Passing Notes to Strangers pulls the best advice from business, writing, advertising, entrepreneurship, psychology, and pop culture.
