Sinopsis

"Reverse Freedom Effect" explores the surprising idea that having too many options can actually decrease our satisfaction and well-being.The book delves into how "choice overload" leads to "decision fatigue," impairing our ability to make good choices and increasing regret. For instance, studies show people are often happier with their selections when choosing from a smaller set of options. It provides a fresh perspective in a world where we're constantly bombarded with choices. The book examines the psychology behind our decision-making processes, breaking down complex ideas into easy-to-understand concepts. It looks at how excessive choice affects various aspects of life, including consumer choices, career paths, and even relationships.By drawing on research from psychology, behavioral economics, and consumer behavior, "Reverse Freedom Effect" makes a compelling case for the power of constraint. The book progresses by first introducing the core principles of choice architecture and cognitive biases. It then dedicates sections to exploring the impact of choice overload in different domains before providing actionable strategies for simplifying decisions.Ultimately, it aims to equip readers with the tools to make more intentional choices and live more fulfilling lives.

What if Jesus were not a supernatural being conceived by a virgin but a real human being who had experienced the awakening of consciousness known as "enlightenment" in the East? This extraordinary line-by-line commentary on some of the best-known New Testament Gospels from Matthew and John tests the hypothesis that Jesus was a mystic, not a miracle worker of supernatural origin. Osho convincingly makes the case that the stories of Jesus' life were never meant to be a factual record of history but rather are teaching parables designed to provide ongoing spiritual guidance for generations to come.
I Say unto You introduces a dynamic, compassionate, intelligent, loving Jesus who speaks in a plain and simple way that everyone can understand. Osho looks with a crystal-clear perception at Jesus' work, revealing the parables and miracles as metaphors of the inner world. He gives insight into Jesus' own search and his journeys to the ancient mystery schools of Egypt, Kashmir, and Tibet that transformed him into one of the most evolved masters of the paths of love and meditation. His insights are so relevant for today's societies, where the sharp functioning of the mind is more valued than the intelligence of the heart.
A fascinating series of talks in which Osho gives his own interpretation of some of the most important phrases and parabolas of Jesus. He introduces us to a Jesus seen through the eyes of awareness and consciousness.

Small Book with a Big Idea - Key...

We all want to be happy and lead a fulfilling life. I wrote this book because I believe self-awareness is essential to accomplish all we hope for in our lifetime. You can cultivate it when you realize its power. We all have it, One of the biggest challenges I faced since the day I was born is what does it mean to be an Asian American living in America, especially at a time when there were so few. My race forced me be to become more self-aware of who I am, and, in this journey, I became more rooted in my humanity and developed my spiritual dimension that we all have. My book opens up with this poem and quote:
Are you greater than the sun
    that shines on everyone:
Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, and White,
    the sun does not discriminate.
“Dare to be as great as the sun. Dare to shine on everyone.”
I wrote this poem in 1978 in a personal journal. I did not realize it would change my life and put me on a path that required self-awareness, humility, courage and extraordinary patience and perseverance.
I share stories, poems, ask thought-provoking questions about biases to invite you to think about this issue that impact your life at work and in the community. All humans have unconscious biases. Prejudices and biases are just one of many life's challenges. You cannot get through life without difficulties and adversities. The bigger the problems, the bigger the growth. An essential key to finding your right path and leading a fulfilling life is self-awareness. We all have this ability. When we become conscious of this and apply it to every part of our life we can overcome fears, make better decisions especially those that are life changing, become more focused and in some cases go through dramatic changes that will bring you more love, joy and meaning to your life.
