Synopsis

The story is about the keepers chosen to restore the realm. The Keepers are chosen from our world, from every part of our world. Five nine year old are chosen by the dragon’s spirit, the guiding spirit of Ratatatuvue.

Our Keepers don’t know what they’re walking into in Ratatatuvue as they entered the realm in different ways. The twins entered to restore the realm and solve their problem, Neila entered the realm chasing after a thief that stole her key, as did Ken from New York, and only Nathan entered by a summoning from the other keepers.

However, Master Yoki has a plan for the Keepers because he doesn’t allow Keepers in Ratatatuvue. As the master of the law of the realm he sees to it that every Keeper sent into the realm for the past hundred years fails and sent back to earth without victory. He also has a plan to redeem the realm from the power of the mystic. But his own personal war and vengeance nobody knows. What does he really want?

Our Keepers have to confront Master Yoki and outsmart him at his own game. Yoki is a scientist and our Keepers are chosen by mystic order. Though knowing science from earth they still have to stand with the mystic. Our Keepers aim to bring the realm into eternal reign by an evolution spin but Master Yoki stands and needs defeating if they should reach that point.

Can our Keepers defeat Yoki at his own game and restore the realm by evolution spin? What is the fate of Yoki should our Leepers succeed and will Yoki ever let that happen?

Find out in the story and dive into the world of Ratatatuvue along with our Keepers.

Adapted from Clint Smith's #1 New York Times bestselling and universally acclaimed How the Word Is Passed, this must-read narrative takes readers to historical sites across America, exploring the legacy of slavery to help readers make sense of our nation's past and present, and be better stewards of their own future. Beginning in his own hometown of New Orleans, Clint Smith leads young readers through an unforgettable tour of monuments and landmarks—those that are honest about the past and those that are not—offering an intergenerational story of how slavery has been central in shaping our nation’s collective history, and ourselves. How the Word Is Passed illustrates how some of our country’s most essential stories are hidden in plain view—whether in places we might drive by on our way to school, holidays such as Juneteenth, or entire neighborhoods (like downtown Manhattan) on which the brutal history of the trade in enslaved people has been deeply imprinted. Informed by scholarship and brought alive by the story of people living today, this adaptation of Clint Smith’s #1 bestselling, award-winning work of nonfiction offers kids a new understanding of the hopeful role that memory and history can play in making sense of our country, and shows how they can reckon with the past and present to become better stewards of their future.

Mike Morrison tacked to starboard, and the Mister Mike sailed around the giant prow of the U.S.S. Nevada. The whole of Pearl Harbor was filled with the mighty ships of the United States Pacific fleet. It was early morning, Dec. 7, 1941.
Later Mike remembered that he had grinned at his big brother Jeff, Lt., USAF, then at Mary Jane, his shadow from next door. He had checked his watch --- 7:55 exactly. Then he had glanced up at the sky to watch a small black speck grow larger and larger. It couldn’t be, but it was—a Jap Zero! In seconds the harbor was a fiery inferno of sinking ships. The Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor!
What happened in the next few hours will never be forgotten by them—or by any American. The Air Corps fought back from crippled planes. Jeff, one of the lucky few, managed to get his P-40 fighter into the air to strike back. But those on land and sea did their jobs, too. Explosions rocked Wheeler Field, and Mary Jane pitched in with nurses and soldiers alike to save the lives of the injured.
It was Mike, however, who volunteered for the strangest assignment of all. As he paused on the edge of the boat ready to dive down to the men in the sunken ship, he knew that what happened next would be his greatest adventure.
This USA Back Then book is an exciting story about the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. It is based on true historic events, and it provides an entertaining way to learn more about the amazing history of the United States of America.
