Sinopsis

I found the bonds I wanted all along, but with how complicated these men are, I’m not sure we can make this work.

Following Caden and Mateo's little stint, I made up my mind to steer clear of any romantic involvement with the Crawford boys.

It's clear that despite the bonds between us, we're not meant to be.

Now, my priority is to swiftly accomplish my mission and sever ties with the Crawford Pack and the Crawford boys for good.

Unfortunately, my plans fall through when Angelique is found dead, and I become the primary suspect in her murder.

Given this new turn of events, I'm uncertain about how much longer I can maintain my false identity.

Moreover, should my true identity be revealed, I'll undoubtedly face expulsion from the pack long before I can complete my mission.
Fortunately, Levi and I have reconciled, and with his support, I believe I can make this work.

Unwanted Bonds is book three of four books in Their Fated Mate series and it ends on a cliffhanger.

*If you like these tropes: fated mates, reverse harem / why choose romance, badass female main characters, cinnamon roll Alphas, childhood sweetheart romance, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, werewolf romances, etc, this series is for you.

Ajax looted the orc. He'd been farming the ugly green skins for longer than he'd like to admit.
"Oh joy. Another tusk to sell." Ajax watched as an eighth stack of one hundred started in his inventory.
He, Sky, MissyQ, Adriana, and Daphne had escaped Tyren with a literal castle full of loot two days ago. Ajax didn't feel one bit guilty about all they’d taken; the royal family had imploded with no small amount of help from Richard.
With his criminal status removed once they had completed the dungeon, they had wasted no time in leaving Tyren and the mess it had become behind them. The forums painted the city as pure chaos. The royal family was all assumed dead, leaving dukes springing up like weeds, offering players nearly endless quests to kill rivals or campaign for them.
More than a few disgruntled players were posting on the forums asking what to do now that a particular noble who'd given them a quest was dead. There was no respawning for the NPCs.
When the forums weren’t discussing the quests, they were filled with rumors of how the royal family had died. The current running theory was that there was a battle between demons and angels, and there was a game-wide manhunt for any perpetrators who escaped.
Richard had pinned that squarely on Ajax’s back.
Ajax tried to ignore the constant chatter on the forums, working to focus on his own issues. Their group of five had spent their time since leaving Tyren working to level up as quickly as they could as they prepared for the upcoming convention. Ajax was so close to joining a professional team; he wasn’t about to let up on the work now.
They’d been training and hunting together, but at the moment, Ajax was alone. The girls had logged off for the day to prepare for the convention in the real world.

A public assassination puts a bounty on Leilani's head . . . and another mystery in her lap. Leilani Falconi is no longer an IIS agent; in fact, no one is. With the Imperial Investigative Service disbanded, and an entire system after her for the murder of Admiral Jason Dorthy, Leilani evades detection with her inherent smarts and skill. But there's an ever-present gnawing at the back of her mind: she's missing something, something big. Apparently, so are the known galaxies. When she returns to her roots at ELU, identities unravel-no one is who they appear to be, even herself. To make matters worse, unfolding historical timelines point to a complicated mystery still shaping present-day conflicts. Lei knows the power-grab that started the puzzle is far from over. What was hidden must be found-by her first, if she wants to keep a powerful technological revolution from falling into the wrong hands, and preserve the galaxy from spiraling into oblivion. The mystery and wit in Wendi Coffman-Porter's second book of the Eldrilin Chronicles, The Grand Veeshali, will have readers on their toes as this sci-fi crime bridges the line between fantasy, technology, and reality.

Any war is made up of a horde of personal tragedies—but the greater picture is the tragedy of the death of a way of life. For a way of life—good, bad, or indifferent—exists because it is dearly loved....or at least that is the theory. Is freedom always a good thing? Is the act of destroying a way of life to spread 'freedom' something that is always wanted or desired, or is it just another brutal way of imposing slavery and a sad life on people who do not have any wish to change.
