Sinopse

A wealthy man with a critically ill wife seeks the help of Matthew Hiller, a world-class neurosurgeon with a thriving practice. In addition to facing a difficult professional challenge, Matthew confronts the most brutal emotional crisis of his life: the lovely patient, Silvia, was his lover years ago. Fighting to save her, Matthew recalls their first meeting in Paris and the sadness that ensued.
