Synopsis

Vivian had a literal unicorn . . . and tragically lost him. Her daughter is a kirin, a lucky Chinese unicorn, her son is eight months and already has four teeth, and she's working full-time as a nurse. She doesn't have the time for romance, no matter how handsome the new temporary pediatrics doctor is. She definitely doesn't have time for the puppy her daughter desperately wants. 
 
 
 
As a unicorn shifter, Doctor Becket can use his power to heal disease and injury. The only problem is that every time he uses his magic, he loses a little bit of his own lifespan. He's made peace with this trade-off . . . until he meets a courageous single mother who reminds him what there is left to live for.
