Synopsis

Three government agencies. Secrets of a missing husband. And one woman to find their connection. 
When Miakoda Nez's husband goes missing after a terrorist attack at the US Embassy in Brazil, she heeds his cryptic instructions to pack up and run. Throwing clothes and a gun in her suitcase, she heads out on a familiar route they'd taken many times. But everywhere she looks, someone is watching. 
Disguised as a homeless veteran, FBI agent Greyson waits at a rest stop for his contact, but when a gang of thugs threaten Miakoda, he jumps to her rescue. Once on the road together, Greyson gets contacted by his boss and given a new assignment: keep his eye on Miakoda and report her location daily. 
As Miakoda follows clues her husband left to a secret project, she becomes embroiled in deep international intrigue involving the CIA, FBI, and the American President. Miakoda hires Greyson to be her bodyguard, but his duty to his family and government conflict with his growing love of the Navajo beauty as he plays double agent. 
Will she be able to evade the government's long reach as she follows her husband's evidence trail?
