  In the outskirts of Tuscany, a fuse sparked, leaving behind the entrails of an undesirable fire, slowly burning away the remains of those left behind. The love between Sophie and Alessandro seemed shallow and childish at best. From their initial confrontations to their constant arguments and differences, the gap between their relationships continued to push them further apart. Left with nothing more than a surreal dream with lingering desires, what will Sophie and Alessandro do when the reality of life finally takes over the world of fancy and dreams? Are the trips to Trieste, Paris, and Slovenia merely a desire for sexual deviance or a sign of true love? With an engagement ring and a lifetime promise, can Sophie really risk having something more than just a measly fling with Alessandro? As each encounter became more complicated, the initial accident turned into constant expectations with no ends.

  Exploring the dark side of global commodities, Elizabeth Kuti's's play The Sugar Wife offers an engrossing examination of sexual politics and political morality.
  The play won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in 2006. It was first produced by Rough Magic, and performed at Project Arts Centre, Dublin, in 2005, before transferring to Soho Theatre, London. It was revived, in the version published here, at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, in 2024, directed by Annabelle Comyn.

  In Winston & The Duke, Rory Fellowes delivers a thought-provoking play that invites the audience to question:

  "On The Way to New York" is the story of a workplace romance that takes more than seven years to develop. Ella is an ambitious, advertising executive vying for a promotion to an office in New York City, effectively escaping Cleveland, Ohio. Only one man stands in the way of her realizing her dreams. 
  Cameron, also ambitious to make it in New York City, is the immature competition Ella must surpass to earn the promotion. With the help of her wily assistant Marie, Ella is able to land a meeting with a representative of an extremely large account for her firm. Success with this potential client could make her career and secure her promotion to New York. 
  Cameron, a habitual jokester and charmer, weasels his way into Ella's big meeting. He claims he only wants to help her, but she finds that hard to believe. Out of the blue, Ella and Cameron click in a way they never anticipated. A building attraction and mutual respect is found to exist and the sky is their limit. After landing the firm's largest single account they are offered the opportunities of their lifetimes.
