Sinopse

A high-security facility housing numerous dangerous SCP (Secure, Contain, Protect) entities suffers a catastrophic breach.  SCP-682, an indestructible reptile driven by hatred, rampages through the facility, slaughtering guards and leaving a trail of carnage.  Simultaneously, SCP-096 ("The Shy Guy"), whose gaze triggers violent rage, and SCP-173 ("The Sculpture"), a creature that moves when unobserved, wreak havoc, killing anyone who crosses their path.  SCP-106 ("The Old Man") breaches containment, dragging victims into a pocket dimension of torment.  SCP-049 ("The Plague Doctor") performs horrifying "cures" that transform the living into grotesque beings.  SCP-939 ("With Many Voices") uses mimicry to lure victims to their deaths, while SCP-610 ("The Flesh That Hates") unleashes a rapidly spreading, flesh-mutating infection.  SCP-087 ("The Staircase") traps and consumes those who descend its endless steps.  The silent but deadly SCP-2521 leaves behind only eviscerated bodies, and SCP-666 ("The Devil's Child") drives those who witness it to madness and self-destruction.  The facility is plunged into complete chaos, with multiple, simultaneous threats leaving no survivors.

The narrative follows a fragmented structure, focusing on individual encounters with each SCP.  There is no central protagonist who survives; instead, the story showcases the horrifying capabilities and effects of each creature on its victims. The overall plot focuses on the terrifying consequences of containment failure and the sheer, inescapable horror of facing these entities. The resolution, if it can be called that, is the complete devastation of the facility and the utter annihilation of everyone inside.

"It is not reassuring to be told that the things we now call myths were once realities."

When strange, non-human bodies wash up during a historic Vermont flood, folklorist Albert Wilmarth dismisses the local legends of hill-dwelling monsters—but his sceptisism is shaken when he receives a message from a recluse named Henry Akeley, who claims the creatures are real and are menacing his isolated farmhouse.

When Wilmarth gets to the house—lured by the promise of incredible revelations—he hears disturbing noises coming from the darkness and makes a gruesome discovery… the whispering is not of this world, and Akeley's fate is more horrific than Wilmarth could have ever imagined.

Though virtually unknown and financially unsuccessful during his lifetime, H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937) is now regarded as one of the most influential 20th-century writers of supernatural horror fiction. Widely credited with inventing the "cosmic horror" genre—fiction that explores humanity's insignificance in the face of vast, unknowable cosmic forces—he also created the "Cthulhu Mythos", a shared universe of ancient alien beings and forbidden knowledge that has influenced generations of horror and science fiction writers.

"My name is Howie. I was named after my father, Howard, but having two Howards was confusing, so I became Howie. I am a supermarket night manager. This is my account."
When a deadly infection spreads across Europe, supermarket manager Howie’s ordinary life is thrown into chaos. As the world crumbles around him, he teams up with his autistic best mate, Dave and a ragtag group of misfits to face an enemy unlike any other—the undead. But this isn’t just any infection. It evolves. It learns. And it’s getting smarter every day. Howie soon learns that nothing is quite what it seems - and neither is he.
With fast-paced, blistering action, The Undead series follows Howie and Dave and their unlikely friends as they become the only hope for humanity pitted in a race against time to stop the infection before it becomes clevererer than them. Which honestly wouldn't be that hard.

Some boys are born to inherit pain. Others become it.
In the mist choked hollows of 1930s Appalachia, fourteen year old Henry has learned to live by silence. Raised by a violent uncle and haunted by a mother he never knew, Henry moves through the world with quiet fury until one tragic friendship shatters what little innocence he had left.
As the cruelty of the town closes in, and secrets long buried rise to the surface, Henry builds a hidden refuge deep in the woods. But the past isn’t done with him yet. And when the truth finally comes to light, it will burn through everything in its path.
Told with lyrical grit and unflinching heart, Henry: Memoirs of a Killer is a Southern Gothic coming of age story about survival, justice, and what it means to reclaim your voice even if it means losing everything else.
