Sinopsis

Edgar Wallace was a prolific British writer in the early 20th century, known for his crime and detective fiction. The Devil Man is one of his lesser-known works, but it is a classic example of his style.

The story follows Inspector Elk of Scotland Yard as he investigates a series of murders that seem to be connected to a mysterious man known as "the Devil Man." The Devil Man is said to have supernatural powers and the ability to control people's minds. Elk is initially skeptical of these claims but soon discovers that there may be some truth to them.

The Devil Man is a thrilling mystery full of twists and turns. Wallace's writing style is fast-paced and engaging, and he keeps the reader guessing until the very end.

Edgar Wallace (1875-1932) was a British author, journalist, and playwright, best known for his crime and detective novels. He wrote over 170 novels, 957 short stories, and 18 stage plays during his prolific career. Wallace's work was popular in his time, and his novels were often adapted for film and stage.

It was first published in Strand Magazine in 1893 with original illustrations by Sidney Paget. One of Doyle's sentimental pieces, the story is remarkable in that Holmes' deduction during the course of it proves incorrect. Now and again, however, it chanced that even when he erred the truth was still discovered."Famous works of the author Arthur Conan Doyle: A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of the Four, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Return of Sherlock Holmes, The Valley of Fear, His Last Bow, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, Stories of Sherlock Holmes, The Lost World.
