  Bob a very tired gold prospector is on his way home, he fights to stay alert on the narrow back road; suddenly in the darkness an oncoming vehicle appears out of nowhere and comes straight at him, the bright headlights are blinding, he swerves to avoid the other vehicle, the edge of the road gives way, a deep crevasse drops off before him. All is quiet and Bob finds himself mortally wounded and trapped beneath the steering wheel. He suspects the impact and internal injuries will only give him a short time to live. 
  A mystery unfolds, and two young men attempt to solve it.
