  "Kevin Goes to Japan 2 Stories for Japanese Learners JLPT N5 to N3" is the sequel of my first book as well as Japanese learning materials, "Kevin Goes to Japan 1". This one also comes with 495 sample reading comprehension questions of JLPT from N5 to N3. These questions are from the story, including what each character thinks/feels. You can understand deeply about the story via reading comprehension. For N3 level questions, the last reading comprehensions are more like articles explaining Japanese culture and languages. 
  Besides, I used more complex words and expressions than in Kevin 1 as a Japanese light novel. You can enjoy love romance stories weaved by Kevin, Yumiko, Yukio, and Tomoko on Valentine's and White Day that is the original even related to Valentine's Day. Regardless of age, Japanese Valentine's Day is one of the most significant events of the year. Yukio and Kevin are pretty thrilled about whether they can get chocolate from Yumiko and Tomoko or not, but......? I hope you enjoy reading Kevin 2 as a bilingual love romance novel as well!

  Five 'lyric essays' exploring the dynamics of performing poetry as a female poet – confronting the implications of being a female on public display, with the connotations of sexual objectification, in a context that traditionally disregards the body. Kim states "With the strides and gains made through the #MeToo movement, I believe the time is right for a book like this to make an impact. As a female poet, I know there is a need for such a book to examine the intersection between writing, performing, feminism and sexism. I wish this book had been written when I first started working as a freelance writer and I've had many conversations with other female poets who have also confirmed my thinking – that female poets are navigating these things regularly, and yet nobody is really writing or talking about them."
  The book draws on her experiences of writing and performing the poems in her second collection All the Men I Never Married. It is a balance of memoir, academic treatise and poetry, though the author's emphasis is on writing in a popular way and making the subject accessible to a wide audience. To achieve this her models have been Maggie Nelson's Bluets, Claudia Rankine's Citizen and Sarah Ahmed's Living a Feminist Life. 
  The book's subjects include heckling at poetry readings and other interactions; problems with the 'male gaze' and what the 'female gaze' might look like in poetry; 'guilty for being a man': how guilt can be useful if it can bring about change; how writing poetry about sexism can shed add meaning to the term; the objectification of men and women, and 'bad faith' arguments.

  Alfred Lichtenstein was born on the 23rd August 1889, in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, the son of a Jewish manufacturer.  He grew up in Berlin before studying law at Erlangen in Bavaria.   
   
  A writer in the Expressionist style his poems and stories are short but beautifully honed works.  His tragically curtailed life allowed only a small part of his talents to rest with us.  Undoubtedly a full life would have given the world a very gifted literary force. 
   
  Alfred Lichenstein volunteered for duty in the German Army for World War I.  He died on the front at the Somme in the early months of combat on the 25th September 1914.  He was 25.

  Lawrence Monsanto Ferlinghetti (March 24, 1919 - February 22, 2021), born in Yonkers, NY, was an American poet, painter, social activist, and co-founder of City Lights Booksellers & Publishers. An author of poetry, translations, fiction, theatre, art criticism, and film narration, Ferlinghetti was best known for his second collection of poems, A Coney Island of the Mind (1958), which has been translated into nine languages and sold over a million copies. The following recording includes Ferlinghetti reading the poems, Baseball Canto, Travels in America Deserta, See It Was Like This When, and Underwear.
