Part of Deirdre Kinahan's trilogy of landmark plays commemorating seven years of warfare in Ireland, Outrage explores the true nature of women's roles in the Irish revolutionary wars, and in particular the Civil War in 1922.
Alice and Nell are sisters who play key roles in organising civic resistance and the propaganda war. They are fervent, they are funny, they are human and they – like everyone else in Ireland – become deeply conflicted as the country spins toward a shattering Civil War that splits the nation, and continues to haunt Irish politics, society and culture to this day.
Outrage was first staged as a touring production by Fishamble: The New Play Company, in partnership with Dublin Port Company and Meath County Council, in 2022.
Deirdre Kinahan's Raging trilogy tells powerful stories drawing on a tumultuous period of conflict in Irish history, from the 1916 Easter Rising to the Civil War which began in 1922. Each of the three plays – Wild Sky, Embargo and Outrage – was first performed a century after the event which it depicts, and they were commissioned and performed by companies including Fishamble: The New Play Company, Meath County Council Arts Office, Dublin Port Company and Iarnród Éireann.
Together, they challenge the historical narrative, mixing true-life testimonies with powerful drama to create a theatrical hurricane of empathy, action and truth.

Here are eight fundamental works by one of the few greatest English poets: three lyric pieces, Songs of Innocence, The Book of Thel, Songs of Experience; the prose satire An Island in the Moon, the mystical prose poem The Marriage of Heaven & Hell, and three visionary poems: The French Revolution, Visions of the Daughters of Albion, America, a Prophecy. William Blake (1757-1827) is one of the great relevant figures of his time, who like Beethoven in music bridges the classical and romantic, remaining himself uncategorizable.

Redux has 30 more poems, reshaping the narrative created in the first book. This version tells a longer and more heartfelt story. Museum of The Soul is a collection of poems that tell a love story. These poems cover the real dynamics of romantic relationships, seen through my eyes. The title The Time IT Took originates from the time it took to put together a body such as this. The title also loosely represents my romantic relationship history. Museum of My Soul in that sense is a collection of artifacts (poems) from different periods of my life and relationships. The book still obliges to three exhibits set forth in the first book: Exhibit A: Falling, Exhibit B: Being broken, and Exhibit C: Ending

Poetry. A form of words that seems so elegantly simple in one verse and so cleverly complex in another. Each poet has a particular style, an individual and unique way with words and yet each of us seems to recognise the path and destination of where the verses lead, even if sometimes the full comprehension may be a little beyond us.

Through the centuries every culture has produced verse to symbolize and to describe everything from everyday life, natural wonders, the human condition and even in its more hubristic moments, the crushing triumph of an enemy.

In the volumes of this series, we take a look at poetry through the prism of individual regions of England, or sometimes more quaintly known as ‘Albion’, or ‘Blighty’, through the centuries of its gloried history.

England, despite its perception of reserve and under-statement has, in reality, strode the global stage at various time in many things, both good and bad, from Empire to long distance running. Here our focus in on its literature. Famed for its fiction and dramas, it is equally admired for its plethora of gifted poets and the dazzling verse which has added so much to its artistic legacy. These classic poets are wonders of their age and of their art. Genius is written in their names.

In this volume we explore the poets of Cambridge. A small city, with its famed university, with an enviable historical grandeur and roll-call of poets who dazzle, humble and inspire us all in ways that only a poet can. Our poets include Christopher Marlowe, Lord Byron, Rupert Brooke, Alfred Lord Tennyson, John Donne and the talents of very many others.
