  The Deadball Era (1901–1920) is a baseball fan's dream. Winning meant nothing, amusement meant everything, and league officials looked the other way.

Although the high-profile murder of the farms final owner, Billy Woodward, eventually forced the farm to close, it did produce an extraordinary number of winning horses throughout its expansive history.
