Synopsis

Eleri’s grandmother gifts her a carved compass, sending Eleri and her friend Sorin on a trek to Cloudspine Peak. Under Dr. Kavi’s guidance, they record temperature, wind speed, and air pressure across elevation bands, revealing how alpine ecosystems shift from lush meadows to stunted summit growth. Sorin uncovers volcanic secrets in ancient rock strata while Eleri documents mountain goats and snowbell flowers adapting to thin air. When a sudden storm looms, they learn to interpret cloud formations and barometric changes for safe travel. Back at base camp, they synthesize findings into a biodiversity and climate gradient, advocating protection of peaks.

The game under the tree looked like a hundred others Peters and Judy had at home. But they were bored and restless and, looking for something interesting to do, thought they'd give Jumanji a try. Little did they know when they unfolded its ordinary-looking playing board that they were about to be plunged into the most exciting and bizarre adventure of their lives. Since its original publication, Jumanji has been honored with many awards, including the Caldecott Medal and a National Book Award nomination, and, in 1996, the surreal story was adapted for the big screen, followed by a 2017 sequel.

    THE GALACTIC FEDERATION OF LIGHT
Book 3 of 6 The shattered prophecy
This is the third book in the series and the plot is as follows:
Five years after defeating the Void King, the fragile Galactic Federation of Light discovers an ancient prophecy in the ruins of Kareth-Vor—the "Shattering," a dimensional collapse unleashing unspeakable horrors. The key lies in the Heart of the First Ones, an artifact buried on the ice planet Morvain-7.
The Zorathians want to weaponize it, the Elurians to destroy it, and the fanatical Cult of the Void seeks to use it to resurrect their dark god. A Federation task force races to secure the Heart, but the Cult ambushes them in the tomb. The Veiled Prophet, their leader, activates the artifact—only to reveal a terrifying truth:
The Heart is a beacon for the First Ones, the galaxy’s ancient creators, who observe from beyond the rift. Their judgment looms—not as allies, but as cold arbiters of civilization’s fate.
The Federation survives the battle, but now faces an existential question: Can they prove their worth to the gods?
This is the third in a series of six audiobooks, the others will become available in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a fast paced modern beat that gets you ready for the out of this world story. The closing music ends the tale on a dark foreboding beat anticipating the next instalment.
The story itself runs to about 15 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
