Sinopse

Sekenre: The Book of the Sorcerer is a collection of linked fantasy short stories by American writer Darrell Schweitzer featuring his dark fantasy protagonist, the child-sorcerer Sekenre. The twelve stories relate various episodes in the life of the immortal sorcerer, who stopped aging physically when he first became a sorcerer while still a child. He confronts various threats and challenges while attempting to maintain some semblance of humanity through the aeons.

Critic Don D'Ammassa called Schweitzer's book "some of the more interesting sword and sorcery style fantasy fiction being published these past few years," and Sekenre "probably Schweitzer's most interesting character, a combination of a child and a powerful sorcerer who has almost ceased to be a human being."

Vanquisher of evil. Wrangler of offspring. Seriously in need of a coffee.
Miriam Feldman’s life is happily bobbing along. Her family and close friends support her magic and things are getting interesting with the wolf shifter. But smooth sailing turns to shark-infested waters when she plumbs the dark depths of her past to investigate her parents’ last con.
Being chum was never on her bucket list.
In comparison, Miri’s new assignment should be easy: track down a demon to check a necklace for dark magic. Of course, nothing about demons is simple and she finds herself forced to strike hard bargains with both demon hunters and an ancient vampire. Awesome.
The farther out she drifts seeking answers, the tighter she’s caught in a net of secrets, lies, and deadly revelations. And this time, she might not break free.
    Just keep swimming...
The antics of this midlife heroine who takes no crap and makes zero excuses are perfect for fans of Grimoires of a Middle-Aged Witch, Order of Magic, Accidental Witches, The Hollows, Leveling Up, the Forty Proof series, and Good to the Last Death.
Featuring a slow burn shifter romance and a smart older heroine with zero effs left to give, this clever, laugh-out-loud paranormal women's fiction will take you on a wild ride.

From a New York Times bestseller, a commander in charge of a legion of misfit troops must track down his missing butler in this sci-fi comedy.    Phule is without a doubt the only captain in the Space Legion with his own butler, but Beeker has stuck with him through thick and thin. Which is why it’s incomprehensible to Phule why Beeker has run off-planet without a word—and with Omega Company’s lovely new medic. Without his right-hand man, Phule has no idea what his left hand is doing. So he takes off after his errant butler, just as General Blitzkrieg decides to make a surprise visit to Zenobia. And the only thing Blitz would like better than catching Phule off guard is to catch Phule AWOL . . .   Praise for the Phule’s Company series:   “A winning story . . . part science fiction, part spoof, part heart-warmer.” —Publishers Weekly   “Madcap . . . a welcome sendup of military sf.” —Booklist   “Light without being frivolous, and displays Asprin’s considerable expertise about fencing and things military, especially leadership.” —Chicago Sun-Times “Reminiscent of ‘M*A*S*H.’” —Analog Science Fiction and Fact Magazine
