Sinopsis

When Olivia Holloway comes back to her strict hometown to care for her father the town’s revered minister she expects the stares, the gossip, the same rules that once pushed her out. What she doesn’t expect is Marcus, her father’s steady assistant who hides his longing behind scripture, or Dean, the bold newcomer rebuilding the town library who makes no secret of wanting her.

Caught between two men who couldn’t be more different, Olivia faces buried secrets, forbidden desire, and the weight of a community watching every step. With Marcus there’s restraint and years of unspoken history. With Dean there’s heat, freedom, and the promise of escape. But in a town that punishes what doesn’t fit, choosing either could cost her more than she’s ready to lose.

As the past collides with the present, Olivia must decide whether she’ll keep playing by rules that were never hers or finally claim the truths she can’t keep buried.

When love feels like sin, is silence the greater betrayal?

***

As with all of Breaking Boundaries, their love story shows that passion has no limits and neither does truth.

Three hearts. Three bodies. One pull they can’t ignore.

Breaking Boundaries brings together bold standalone MMF romances where desire doesn’t fit neat categories and love refuses labels. Each story follows a triad a gay man, a bisexual man, and a woman caught in the tension between forbidden want and undeniable connection.

It’s about attraction that crosses lines, emotions that twist tighter than expected, and heat that refuses to stay hidden. For readers who crave MMF stories where every bond counts and every rule bends until it breaks.

Amir wants to meet a guy outside of a bar. Kinzi wants someone who won't cheat on him. Vico just wants a quick lay. In Gateway, when you need to meet someone, there's no-one better than sexy, flirty Hayward to get you just what you want--or at least have a good time trying. But when Hayward himself needs someone, who will be there to help? "Bridges" is a six-part narrative from five different points of view. The first three parts narrate the same evening from the point of view of each of the three characters involved: Amir, Fin, and Hayward. Part 3.5 follows Amir and Fin some months later, and parts 4 and 5 take place in the world of Hayward as seen by two of the people closest to him. "Bridges" won the Ursa Major Award for Short Fiction in 2010, and part 3.5, written the following year and included in this unabridged audio edition, won the Ursa Major Award for Short Fiction in 2011 for its characterization of a character struggling with depression. This book contains some steamy sex scenes, but also some real heart, showing the tentative steps taken toward relationships by characters afflicted with shyness, depression, or personal tragedy. This is the first in the award-winning line of "Cupcake" books, short fiction in furry worlds. A Furry novel in the Forester Universe.• Genre: Coffeeshop Fox

A meditation on southwestern terrains, intergenerational queer dynamics, and surveilled brown artists that crosses physical and conceptual borders.

Part butch memoir, part ekphrastic travel diary, part queer family tree, Raquel Gutiérrez’s debut essay collection, Brown Neon, gleans insight from the sediment of land and relationships. For Gutiérrez, terrain is essential to understanding that no story, no matter how personal, is separate from the space where it unfolds.

Whether contemplating the value of adobe as both vernacular architecture and commodified art object, highlighting the feminist wounding and transphobic apparitions haunting the multigenerational lesbian social fabric, or recalling a failed romance, Gutiérrez traverses complex questions of gender, class, identity,
and citizenship with curiosity and nuance.
