They have perfected the of awareness, of being in the moment, of trusting the process.

The classic guide to living amid wild, unspoiled nature by a legendary outdoorsman and an experienced survivalist.     A longtime Army colonel, Townsend Whelen later became renowned for his passion for wilderness exploration and his skills as a rifleman. Bradford Angier, inspired by Henry David Thoreau and possessing the same adventurous spirit, advocated for back-to-the-land living and wrote extensively on outdoor survival skills. In this book, they collaborate to offer a guide to discovering the inexpressible thrill of primitive country, the workshop of nature, and the appreciation of wilderness technique.    Unspoiled regions possess a quiet beauty and peace—no artificiality, no crowds, all woods uncut. There is unbounded satisfaction and pleasure in successfully meeting the challenge of the wilderness. Colonel Townsend Whelen and Bradford Angier have combined their vast experiences camping and bivouacking to produce the perfect guide to peace and utter freedom. If the wilderness calls you, they invite you to join them and talk about how to live in it. They explain what from their experience they found to be the best ways of entering wild and unspoiled country, of finding their way through it with the right knowledge and equipment, and of living there in comfort and safety. On Your Own in the Wilderness is their explicit direction on how to escape to an earthly paradise.

Bodyweight training, often referred to as calisthenics, is a form of strength training that utilizes your body’s weight to build muscle, endurance, and overall fitness. Unlike traditional weightlifting, where external weights like dumbbells or barbells are used, bodyweight exercises require no equipment and can be done virtually anywhere. This makes it an accessible and versatile option for anyone looking to improve their physical strength and muscle tone without the need for a gym membership or specialized equipment.
The benefits of bodyweight training extend far beyond convenience. For one, it allows for a wide range of exercises targeting every major muscle group. By manipulating the angle, speed, and range of motion of each movement, you can create a workout that challenges your muscles in different ways, promoting growth and strength. Additionally, bodyweight exercises tend to focus on functional movements, improving overall mobility, flexibility, and coordination. This approach enhances not only muscle size but also the way you move in everyday life.
Many people have misconceptions about bodyweight training, thinking it’s only suitable for beginners or that it can’t build significant muscle mass. While it’s true that bodyweight exercises can be a great starting point for those new to fitness, they also provide enough variety and intensity to continue challenging more advanced athletes. As with any strength training regimen, the key to progress is progressive overload. By gradually increasing the difficulty of exercises—whether through more repetitions, slower movements, or more advanced variations—you can continuously stimulate muscle growth and strength development.

I recently saw several predictions by well-known seers of the future that there will be a huge natural disaster in June/July of 2025.
Whether a disaster from a comet crashing into the Earth, a huge volcanic eruption or earthquake or a nuclear war; the likelihood of humanity suffering a period of global cooling is that it will happen—and has already happened in the past.
Disasters could actually cause global cooling for months or years. In trying to lookup any books on how to individuals and society should handle global cooling I couldn’t find anything. So I decided to write a manual dealing with this issue.
    This manual has five parts:
    Part One-Understanding the Threat
    Part Two-Preparation and Prevention
    Part Three-Surviving the Freeze
    Part Four-Rebuilding in the ICE
    Part Five-Looking Forward
Historical examples of how mankind dealt with global cooling in the past are included as well as lots of advice on how to recognize this process happening to our world, and how to deal with the consequences.
Survival for both individuals and society, and how to plan for the future.
I hope this situation never happens in our lifetimes but this book might be an aid to survival in those circumstances.
