Sinopsis

Riley has been asked to keep a very big secret by someone she loves and she is finding it really hard to cope. One day, Riley is brave enough to speak about what has been happening to her and how she feels about it. Our Secret is a storybook for children who have been through sexual harm and was written to provide children with the skills they need to protect themselves. This book also encourages children to always speak up if something goes wrong. This might sound like a story that children can't handle, but it's written in a way that is non-threatening for parents and children. Ideal for starting conversations about sexual harm, this is an essential resource for anybody supporting children aged 4-12 who may have been through similar experiences.

Jake and Hooley is a fresh modern sequel to the popular 2018 animated film Jake and the Giants and the subsequent audio book that was released. Hooley is an orphaned giant who finds himself hungry, lost and alone near the Village Shi. His immense strength and ability as a lumberjack makes him popular with the Beavers and also with Jake who treats him like a long lost brother making sure he has food to eat and a wonderful place to sleep.
There is plenty of building and lumbering for him to do and with his immense strength he does it quickly. However, things turn sour when he realizes that many in the Village Shi are frightened of him and want him to move away. He overhears and sneaks off without a word.
The story has surprising twists and turns and continues the Jake and the Giants legacy quite well. The arrival of Conrad the giant and Nora a young giantess who is in love with Hooley create havoc in the Shi Village as they search about for their stolen treasure. The battle scenes and terror are unique and clever and ultimately satisfying.
This is a wonderful audio adventure and captures the true spirit of the human heart. "Don't judge someone by their size but by the size of their heart."

Living Space by Isaac Asimov - Having mastered probability lanes, man found an indefinite number of Earths—and everyone could have a planet all to himself, if he wanted. But there was one joker in the deal...
Clarence Rimbro had no objections to living in the only house on an uninhabited planet, any more than had any other of Earth’s even trillion of inhabitants.
If someone had questioned him concerning possible objections, he would undoubtedly have stared blankly at the questioner. His house was much larger than any house could possibly be on Earthproper, and much more modern. It had its independent air-supply and water-supply; ample food in its freezing compartments. It was isolated from the lifeless planet on which it was located by a force-field, but the rooms were built about a five-acre farm (under glass, of course) which, in the planet’s beneficient sunlight, grew flowers for pleasure and vegetables for health. It even supported a few chickens. It gave Mrs. Rimbro something to do with herself afternoons, and a place for the two little Rimbros to play when they were tired of indoors.
Furthermore, if one wanted to be on Earth-proper; if one insisted on it; if one had to have people around, and air one could breathe in the open, or water to swim in — one had only to go out of the front door of the house.
    So where was the difficulty?

Vollis Simpson always needed to know how things worked and could fix just about anything. Even before he could read, Vollis could be found tinkering on his family’s North Carolina farm. And when he served in the army air corps during WWII, Vollis kept right on tinkering—building a washing machine out of airplane parts and a motorcycle out of a bike.

Building things from metal scraps never really left him after he returned home from the war and even after working at his machine-repair shop. His passion for metal creations actually picked up speed—turning into a whirlwind of windmills as far as the eye could see. Luckily Vollis’s fanciful and colorful windmills have been preserved at a park where visitors can behold his magnificent and towering creations forever whizzing in the air.

“Whirligigs captures the joy and magic of these amazing kinetic creations on paper—where kids of all ages can marvel at the imaginative genius and artistic vision of Vollis Simpson. Hopefully it will inspire your own creativity and you will visit our park and museum to see them move and twirl for yourself!”—The Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park & Museum Board of Directors and Staff

Luke Holland believes he is trapped—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—in the rotting house of his reclusive uncle. Convinced the old man is practicing dark rites and certain that murder is justified, Luke prepares a perfect crime that will free him from fear, poverty, and dependence.
But the house has been listening. Ancient rituals, locked rooms, and strange knowledge collide as Luke discovers that not all vengeance ends with a heartbeat. What follows is a terrifying descent into consequences that cannot be escaped, even by death.
Robert Bloch was one of the most influential voices in twentieth-century speculative fiction, blending psychological terror with sharp irony and dark imagination. Best known today for Psycho, Bloch was a protégé of H. P. Lovecraft and a master at exploring fear rooted not in monsters alone, but in the human mind.
Throughout his career, Bloch wrote hundreds of stories that bridged science fiction, horror, and the macabre, often exposing the fragile boundary between reason and obsession. The Grip Of Death stands as a powerful example of his ability to turn moral certainty into existential dread.
