Sinopsis

"Dances from Distant Lands" takes readers on an enchanting journey through the universal language of dance. This beautifully illustrated children’s book celebrates the rich diversity of movement across the world, without focusing on specific countries or traditions. Each chapter introduces a unique dance inspired by nature, elements, animals, and the heartbeat of communities. The protagonist, a curious child, learns how dance can convey stories, celebrate seasons, and unite people from all walks of life. As they travel through each chapter, children are invited to explore themes of inclusion, equality, and the power of shared human experience. This book encourages young readers to appreciate dance not only as an art form but also as a way to express emotions, foster understanding, and connect with others. A delightful, educational adventure that sparks joy and celebrates the beauty of diversity.

    NOW A NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES
Everybody loves a carnival! Who can fail to delight in the colourful people, the unworldly spectacle, the fabulous freaks?
A carnival is a place for good family fun—as long as one has a family, that is. For the Baudelaire orphans, their time at the carnival turns out to be yet another episode in a now unbearable series of unfortunate events. In fact, in this appalling ninth installment in Lemony Snicket's serial, the siblings must confront a terrible lie, a caravan, and Chabo the wolf baby.
With millions of readers worldwide, and the Baudelaire's fate turning from unpleasant to unseemly, it is clear that Lemony Snicket has taken nearly all the fun out of children's books.

An achingly beautiful tale by bestselling author Jonathan Freedland, inspired by a story from Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz, author of The Passenger
It's King Winter's birthday, and he wants his party to be really special. He asks all of his brothers and sisters to be there: Queen Spring, King Summer and Queen Autumn.
But the wind and the trees whisper a warning, and as the four play magical games, something strange begins to happen outside.
Inspired by a story from Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz, written while he was interned on the Isle of Man during the Second World War, this timeless fairy tale is a celebration of nature's rhythms, and of a chaotic world restored to balance.

The storyline of this book was created from the pleasure I attained from looking out a large window at my lake property in Wisconsin. Over many years, as I drank my morning coffee or ate my lunch at noon, I observed in wonderment many different kinds of animals and birds interacting with one another.
Nature continued to illustrate other observations to me that I have written about. These observations helped me to create a storyline for children not only to enjoy reading but also to perhaps assist them in learning an important life lesson.
If you enjoyed reading about Scooter and Lilly who learned a lesson to never give up, you may also enjoy reading about Harry the Hummingbird and Chucky the Black Squirrel, two other storylines about sharing and bullying!
