He's hoping to expand his profile and do a little brand rehabilitation following an embarrassing candid conversation publicly shared by his former friend (now biggest rival), Yasahiro.
When he arrives at the imposing structure, though, he finds that he's not the only ghost hunter investigating, and his exclusive quickly becomes a race to find ghosts between Cas and Yasa. Can Cas keep it together in the face of Yasa's betrayal and his own stubborn attraction? And what might happen when the ghost hunters become the ghost hunted?

Leland teaches at a small, religious college in New England, and the anxiety of losing his position over his lifestyle eventually causes a painful breakup with the one true love of his life, Cliff Emerson.
When Cliff calls a few weeks before Christmas to announce he's getting married, Leland accuses him of dredging up the past and their conversation ends badly. “J.R. Jamison has written one of the most humane and challenging memoirs to come out of the Midwest. This is a perfect read to begin talking about all the conflicting, yet connected, issues forcing a reckoning for those who thought they knew what the world was, and who they were in it. Indeed, we are all more than heroes and villains, and Jamison does a great job of showing how and where our humanity gets lost between the two. I’m so glad I let him guide me through the trip.”-- Ashley C. Ford, author of "Somebody’s Daughter" and host of the HBO podcast "Lovecraft Country Radio"

J.R. Jamison spends his days in a world of trigger warnings and safe spaces, while his trigger-happy dad, Dave, spends his questioning why Americans have become so sensitive. Yet at the height of the 2016 election, the two decide to put political differences aside and travel together to rural Missouri for Dave’s fifty-five year class reunion. But with the constant backdrop of the Trump vs. Clinton battle at every turn, they are forced to explore one formidable question: Will the trip push them further apart or bring them closer together?

Dave has always accepted his gay son. J.R. must learn if he can accept his conservative-leaning dad. Traveling together through the rural, sun-beaten landscapes of Missouri, the two meet people along the way who challenge their concepts of right and wrong, and together they uncover truths about their family’s past that reveals more than political differences—they discover a lesson on the human condition that lands them on the international pages of The Guardian.

"Hillbilly Queer" is an enduring love story between a dad and son who find that sometimes the differences between us aren’t really that different at all.

Jeremy has always wanted to befriend mythical creatures, play with forbidden magic, and meet his fated mate. Okay, okay. He knows the difference between fiction and real life; he is an author after all . . . Or he would be if he ever got to "The End" on one of his stories. So he realizes his desire to live inside a fantasy romance novel is a touch unrealistic, but where is the joy in living a life that is boring and predictable and overwhelmingly blah?

At least that's what he thinks until a hot AF werewolf saves him from his freaky boss and turns his whole life upside down. Now Jeremy is determined to know everything about the supernatural world, and Adrian, his swoon-worthy werewolf hero, is willing to answer all his questions, even when they make the big guy blush.

But when his former goblin boss kidnaps his cat to convince Jeremy to return the items she thinks he stole, things get serious fast. Now in between plotting his next MM romance and seducing the beautiful werewolf (and not just for research purposes), he needs to stage a cat rescue. Life is definitely not boring now.

    Contains mature themes.

People stumbling into Jack Hawthorne's little town of Reeve's Creek isn't anything new. It happens from time to time. Those who need a safe place to hide from the world. Not the same way he needs a safe place, mind, but he lives with it and keeps to himself on the edge of town.

Then two come at once. One is an irritating blip on the radar of his quiet life no matter how much this stranger upset the town, and the other ... well, Sheriff Mason Carrow is there to turn Jack's world upside down. Which is unexpected, and Jack can handle that. Mason likes to hand him surprise after surprise, though, and Jack's in too deep before he even knows what hit him.

The monster in the swamp on the western edge of his territory is something else. It'd take some real special care to deal with, if Jack manages to keep the good Sheriff Carrow from getting in the middle of that mess.

A spring day in a gentrifying neighbourhood begins unremarkably enough; by evening someone has died.

Nat, a middle-aged queer mother of two, feigns normalcy as she worries about her taciturn, loner son locked in his room. Her friend Maddy, a failed actress and fellow parent, frets over her missed opportunities and considers leaving her marriage. Next door, Ilya, a young construction worker, struggles to renovate a fixer-upper, but a buried stream threatens to flood the basement. An old woman eyes the street through the gap in her curtains. A lonely man wanders.

As the troubled residents stumble through their errands, navigating the thorniness of class and privilege, of queer respectability and friendship in an overstretched city, each seemingly inconsequential exchange tightens in around the neighbourhood, until finally tragedy strikes, leaving it forever changed.
