Sinopsis

Justin wasn't planning on moving to Gillham. He doesn't have a reason, except that his best friend has just bonded with his mate and now lives there. But when Justin helps Pryderi move, he meets Pryderi's brother, Yedley—his mate. Yedley has no idea what he's doing. He has a chance at a new life, but he doesn't know where to start until Fate takes that decision away from him and puts Justin in his path. But meeting his mate doesn't solve Yedley's problems. Justin is there for him, but Yedley still needs to come out to his parents and find his way in life. He needs to let Justin become close, even though he's still trying to get over his kidnapping and the time he spent with the Beasts, and he doesn't know how to do that. The danger the Beasts represent is still looming, and Justin is glad when his transfer request to Gillham is accepted, because it means he can be close to his mate and keep him safe. It's a new start for both him and Yedley, but they'll have to find their way around each other—and around their bond.

    TRUTH THAT MUST BE TOLD
When the friends he's been sleeping with get engaged and cut him out of their lives, newly-minted small town police officer Jack Miller confesses his heartbreak to the absolute last person he should tell: his superior officer, Bryan Keene, a former Marine, volunteer firefighter, and, Jack suspects, a closet case. Keene is a really good listener. Jack finds himself confessing to even more, including the trauma that haunts him, and the distressing desires that he keeps at a distance.
    SECRETS THAT MUST BE KEPT
Keene has never met anyone as honest as Jack--or as perceptive. Youthful, beautiful Jack sees past everything Keene says and does. For the first time in almost a decade, Keene wishes he could be honest about who he is. But Keene has segmented his life so completely since his return from Afghanistan that he no longer knows how to be a whole person. Falling for Jack--his subordinate, the rookie--puts everything he's built in jeopardy.
    LOVE THAT RISKS IT ALL
Although they promise themselves they'll stop seeing each other, they soon relapse into dating in secret. Jack wants to tell their police chief and take their relationship public. He sees a chance for something real--a meaningful counterpoint, at last, to the painful directionlessness of his life. Keene wants to help Jack, who is dogged by his past, and more importantly, he wants to be with Jack. No matter how sure he is that Jack will leave Grenton, and Keene. In a town this small, in the grip of a series of mysterious fires, secrets cannot stay hidden for long. And when all truths are finally told, the consequences may be unbearable.
WHISPER is a stand-alone, full-length novel in the Grenton PD series. Content warnings: sexual assault in character backstory (off-screen only, no flashbacks); internalized homophobia. Contains spoilers for BREATHE.

At the café Milo Miracle co-owns with his twin sister, coffee and pastries are served up along with his unique blend of sass and snark. Milo knows that small-town life often means that every day is the same as the one before, and excitement can only be found in the gossip that travels faster than the speed of light. When the Adonis who broke his heart returns home after a twelve-year absence, Milo unhappily finds himself at the center of Blissville's favorite pastime.
Andy Mason was practically a kid when he left home to pursue big-league ambitions, but the man who returns to Blissville is humbled by shattered dreams and secrets. Andy's no stranger to grit and determination, and he'll need both to win back Milo's cynical heart.
Strong wills clash with stubborn hearts, triggering combustible passion once Andy starts renovations at the café. Milo would like to keep Andy's hands busy doing something other than construction. Andy would like to suggest what Milo can do with his wicked tongue besides trade barbs with him. It's a classic fairytale: Knight meets necromancer. They argue. They fight. They…make out?
Prince Roland comes home from the war to bury his father and see his sister on the throne. He sneaks out to his favorite tavern for nostalgia’s sake. It’s the place where he kissed a man for the first time, the place where he used to carouse with the lover he buried on a battlefield.
Roland expects to flirt with a few strangers for old time’s sake. He does not expect to find a fascinating scholar from out of town—a lonely young man with beautiful eyes and an obvious longing to be touched, buried beneath a prickly demeanor. Their unexpected chemistry makes him feel alive for the first time in months.
Roland exerts all his knightly charm and is rewarded by the promise of a second date. He’ll need something to look forward to tomorrow, since he must spend the day in council with his family’s sworn enemy—a necromancer whom his sister has rashly invited to consult about the war.
Sairis is a necromancer with a price on his head. He knows that he will have to bargain for his life tomorrow. He’s never been this far from his tower. He’s good with magic, not people.
Sairis knows he’s doing something foolish by visiting a tavern the evening before his meeting with the royals—a tavern that caters to men of certain tastes. But Sairis wants things. Things a hunted outlaw can never have.
He’s shocked when a dazzling mountain of a man is unintimidated by his glare. Sairis knows a knight when he sees one. He has killed plenty of knights. But this knight is funny and kind. Sairis finds his defenses melting in spite of his best efforts. Maybe he could go on a second date with this person.
Of course, he’ll have to get through tomorrow first…when he must bargain with the hated royals who have persecuted him all his life.
The Knight and the Necromancer is a trilogy with satisfying conclusion at the end of book 3.
