  Surprisingly, I found God through some bad things when I was little. He knew what my battles would be and that I’d need an unshakeable faith, so He made Himself known to me when I was young. I don’t think I even understood the miracles, but I knew He was real, so I had two options - not serve a God I knew was real or serve Him faithfully. 
  God gets all the glory. I couldn’t do this on my own. Every day I walked through the fire, I did it not by my own might. God made a path through the wilderness. There’s nothing I could accomplish without God. It’s not my legacy; it’s His. I’m not the main character; just a puzzle piece in the bigger picture - a life willing to be laid down. But I couldn’t keep the goodness of God to myself. In the end, I hope you find Him as you read my story. I hope you see His goodness through the darkness. That we may know our God, and see Him, and the only thing I strive for is to know Him and make Him known. 
  Only through faith could I forgive and see that those who contributed to my trauma were experiencing their own. They were victims too. That’s when I decided I wasn’t going to be a victim, but a survivor. That journey started with forgiveness. 
  Maybe the magic is just the sharing of faith and Jesus. He trusted us with our testimony because He knew we would share His faithfulness! We need to love and forgive as freely as Jesus has loved and forgiven us!
