Kallie Grande-White is a beautiful, successful, twenty-seven-year-old working with her grandmother, her Abuela-Blancha, at their blooming, Florida-based private investigation firm. As the daughter of a famous model, Kallie's also very funny, charming, and, thanks to her high school experiences, very empathetic. 
But Kallie has trouble dating, and so when Ricky--a very, very nice man--asks her out to a comedy club for their fourth date, Kallie is eager to accept. While he's got his own set of problems, there's something more about him that makes Kallie look twice. 
And when Ricky becomes a comedian's target, Kallie's going to do anything but back down ...
