Sinopse

Get the first three Badlands books in one volume.
Three years after a devastating pandemic transformed humanity into vicious and wild creatures, Ed Brady struggles to protect his two sons. His wife is dead. His boys are all that matter to him now, his only reason for living.
They’re headed to St. Louis, Missouri, a city that might provide a safe haven. With only a garbled radio transmission to go on, the city is their last hope.
Miles of ruined countryside lie between, populated with infected hordes and lawless criminals. The journey will be hell. To survive, they’ll have to rely on each other completely, never letting their guard down.
If Ed is right about the city, he’ll find salvation for his sons.
If he’s wrong, he’ll lose everything he loves.
The Badlands trilogy follows Ed Brady as he struggles to find a safe haven for his two boys in a world decimated by a virus that turns people into vicious animals.

On the night of July 15, 1903, Nikola Tesla powered up his 190-foot tower in Wardenclyffe on Long Island's north shore. The bolts of energy radiating from the apical dome were visible as far away as New Haven, Connecticut.?This was the first and last time anyone would witness such a display. Three years later, broke and unable to secure further funding, Tesla abandoned the Wardenclyffe tower and his dream of worldwide wireless power. He returned to Manhattan where he promptly suffered a nervous breakdown.
    So say the history books.
But new evidence has surfaced that a shadowy fraternal order stepped in and provided generous funding after J. P. Morgan reneged. Witnesses state that testing of the tower continued but only on foggy days when the discharges would not be noticed. The final test took place on April 18, 1906. Around dawn, in heavy fog, the tower was charged to maximum capacity; across the Atlantic, in Abereiddy, Wales, two copper prongs attached to a 50-watt lightbulb were thrust into the ground. The bulb lit. Tesla had proved that worldwide wireless power was possible.
Why then, at the moment of his greatest vindication, did Nikola Tesla abandon his project? What could possibly have transpired at Wardenclyffe that day to so rattle him that he would deny the world his transformative technology? We may never know.

It was the same day that I received my Ph.D. that my grandmother shattered everything I thought I knew.In total, I had been studying for 7 years, beginning with zoology, and then transferring to straight biology, completing my masters a year later, and whilst taking up teaching duties at the university, completing my Ph.D. over the following years. By that point, I was an academic of some standing and the papers I had written had gained some attention within some select circles interested in those sorts of things, but I was tired. Seven years is a long time. The process of reaching these milestones in my academic progress was exhausting. The hours and intellectual demands taxing on both the body and mind. Not to mention the crippling homesickness that I had felt ever since starting my undergraduate qualification.I had left my home in Turkey aged nineteen for a scholarship place at a top university in the United States. Whilst I loved my friends, the lecturers, and the challenge of the courses I completed there, and thanked God every day for the opportunities I had been given, from day one, I felt the nagging weight on my shoulders, the feeling in my...GET YOUR COPY TODAY!
