ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
"An Absolutely Remarkable Thing" by Hank Green tells the story of April May, a young woman who becomes famous after discovering a mysterious robot statue named Carl. This discovery leads to a global phenomenon, as more of these robots appear worldwide, and many people begin experiencing a shared dream associated with them. April uses her newfound fame to try and promote a positive understanding of the Carls, and attempts to unravel their mysteries along with her friends. The story explores themes of fame, responsibility, and the human response to the unknown, and is filled with puzzles, technological riddles and social commentary, culminating in a dangerous confrontation.
