Sinopse

Video games fuel a fundamental human drive for adventure and greatness—whether it’s an epic quest to slay zombies, a solo voyage to rescue the princess, or teaming up with a clan to defeat the final boss. But what if that same drive could shape more than just your gameplay—what if it could transform your whole life?In Gaming and the Heroic Life, Bobby Angel, a lifelong gamer and Catholic speaker, challenges readers to see gaming not just as entertainment, but as preparation for a real-life adventure in virtue, courage, and purpose.Drawing inspiration from Carlo Acutis—the first millennial saint who loved playing Halo, Super Mario, and Pokémon—Angel shows how gaming can train us to become saints in the digital age. This book is a map to becoming not only a better gamer but also a better person—someone who knows their purpose and identity as a child of God.The book contains three levels:Level One explores why people love games and what games have to do with God.Level Two examines how the Easter eggs of truth, beauty, and goodness in games impact players and how they reflect our relationship with God.Level Three demonstrates how gaming can propel players AFK (away from keyboard) to live courageously in service to others. With humor and heart, Angel shows how video games intersect with a life of faith in God—and how every gamer is called to holiness in both the virtual and real worlds.

Leaving Stoney Ridge feels unbearable—but how can she stay?

Impulsive Lydie Stoltzfus has always felt like a disappointment—a square peg in a round hole in her quiet Amish community. Leaving her family and church seems like her best move, even though it would mean leaving Nathan Yoder behind.

Nathan claims he’s in love with her, but she knows she’s not good enough for him.

And if she is ever in doubt, Nathan’s father reminds her frequently.

Knowing Lydie is “between” jobs again, the local doctor asks her to fill in at the front desk for a few months. This gives Lydie time to figure out how she’s going to say goodbye to Nathan—and it gives Dok ample time to recognize the symptoms
of a disorder rare among the Amish. She offers Lydie treatment that has the potential to change her life.

But will it be enough to make her stay? Or has help come too late?

A breathtaking new novel about letting go, taking chances, and embracing the healing power of love—from the international bestselling author of Tranquility Falls.

Just when he thought he’d buried his past and was moving on …

Four years after his wife’s death, art history teacher Derek Gaines has finally made a kind of peace with himself. He tries his best to stave off memories. His days are ones of familiar routine. Guarded against further pain, he keeps relationships at a safe distance. It’s all part of his necessary transition to surviving alone.
If anything is truly responsible for Derek making it back from the brink it’s his edifying work as a consultant for auction houses—and indulging a consuming sideline job: tracking stolen art. But Derek’s latest hunt will lead him toward challenges both professional and personal—that he’s not prepared to face …

He discovered the art of falling in love again …

Joining Derek on his quest is Kelly Reid, the new junior vice president at Christies Los Angeles. She is driven, ambitious, fiercely passionate about her work—and a fellow wounded kindred spirit. Bitterly immune to men’s promises, she’s never letting herself be vulnerable again. Yet even as trust and affection remain frightening
territory, a tenuous start to her partnership with Derek slowly builds toward something more. And soon, both will be tested beyond anything they could have imagined—in the deepening mystery of a lost painting, and in matters of the heart, which can be the greatest mystery of all.

With love comes risk in The Emerald Tide, a powerful and emotional novel about daring to take a second chance.

    Why The Pre-Tribulation Rapture...

Why the pre-tribulation rapture theory is false is a brief introduction to what is wrong with the theory of a pre-tribulation rapture. As you read through this book, you will come to understand why this theory is unbiblical.
Those who believe in this theory are unfortunately looking for an escape from the time of the tribulation. Their studies, if they do any at all, are in the hope of finding an escape clause in God's plans for humanity. They cling to straws and errors in the interpretations of the times in which we live. They take most of their beliefs from pastors who have themselves misunderstood the scriptures. Not only that, but they do not do their due diligence and study God's holy bible for the truth that is concealed in this amazing book.
There are two very important scriptures that we should all take to heart when we study the bible. Read Pro 25
Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.
So we see here that God has concealed the truth on many matters throughout the bible and it is our task to dig into the scriptures to find the truth. The other scripture that backs up this idea in found in.
Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
These verses advise us to seek the truth.
To know the truth on this matter is to prepare the church for what is surely coming in the near future. A time of great tribulation. A time the church will have to live through. Christians should not put their hope in a rapture to take them out of the world. They must use the little amount of time left to prepare for the tribulation, and a time when Satan will persecute the church.

Life‘s Mysteries Unveiled is concerned with the spiritual life and its recovery as a living power. We learn that seemingly simple questions may lead to great issues for the inner and outer life, for all that is true in the spiritual realms has its correspondence within the individual. All seeking Souls are on a momentous journey; the mysteries of their past can explain their present longings and challenges, as well as reveal their future potential.
In each section of the book we are led step by step to deeper meanings. The themes are varied and vast in scope, unveiling mysteries of cosmic cycles, eternal principles, Soul creation and inheritance, the graciousness of Love, the real ancient wisdom and how to walk the mystic path in life. Some of the themes are Biblical because of the context in which they arose, yet all are taken beyond those confines in a way that transcends and illumines them.
These, and hundreds more inspiring themes, are developed in some forty books and numerous booklets produced by the author.
