Sinopse

She's done wild stuff, but never anything like this.

Gaspard is a winemaker living a calm bachelor's life. But today, a gorgeous woman parks her bicycle against his old house. The blonde hip-sways over to him. After a cheerful "Bonjour Monsieur!" she asks to get down to business right away, as she's in a hurry.

The way she looks, any man would be happy to!

Instead of taking her up on the offer, Gaspard takes her on a tour of his vineyard. He soon confuses the girl by showing her how hot he finds her, but at the same time not laying a finger on her. After more failed attempts to get him going, the girl becomes so bewildered that she pulls out all the stops for Gaspard.

She raises the sexy to critical levels, but Gaspard's plan requires just a bit more patience!

Boulevard Wren and Other Stories is the stunning follow-up to the bestselling Gospel According to Blindboy, and a warped mirror held up to the Irish psyche.
Provocative and unsettling, the stories rove through the centuries, from the barren fields of Famine-struck Meath to the chaotic landscape of the near future, where social media has colonised the deepest recesses of the human subconscious. This is a world populated by characters lost and at odds with the demands of contemporary life, for whom the line separating redemption and madness has grown impossibly fine.
Razor-sharp social satire, it is an era-defining work from one of Ireland's most anarchic satirists and a quietly devastating portrait of a society in disarray.

William Le Queux (1864 - 1927) was an Anglo-French journalist and writer, diplomat, traveller, flying buff and wireless pioneer who broadcast music from his own station long before radio was generally available. He was phenomenally successful as a novelist and short story writer, and many of his tales are based on his own exploits, albeit vastly exaggerated. He is widely recongnized as one of the first creators of the spy story genre, in which his diplomatic background, familiarity with European high society and his interest in technology combined to create a rich tapestry for his intrigues.InThe Secret of Dr. Vaux's Intrigue a British spy pits his wits against a French Cabinet Minister to acquire details of negotiations between France and Russia which will be essential to prevent a war in Europe.

The plot of the book is almost identical to the story presented in the first three sonnets of the Fungi from Yuggoth. In other words, the protagonist in a peculiar bookstore purchases a book of extraordinary and dangerous power for a paltry sum of money. This is only a fragment of the story, likely written during the period when Lovecraft was experimenting with prose to improve his own texts.

    Guilt. The heaviest burden.
An old man has for many years borne a weight that runs deeper than survivor’s guilt. He is a survivor, of humanity’s darkest hour, but wouldn’t have lived through it if not for the actions of another.
Now he has the opportunity for which he has long yearned: to meet his saviour’s daughter and tell her about her father’s supreme act of selflessness. And maybe, in the telling, one of them will find release.
