Summary

So you want to know what AI agents are all about? Great! Think of this as your friendly, easy-to-digest intro to one of the most exciting trends in tech today — no jargon, no complicated theories, just simple ideas and real-world examples. An AI Agent isn’t just a chatbot or a bot that follows strict rules. It’s more like a smart assistant that can understand your goals, make plans, use tools, and even adapt when things don’t go as expected. Imagine telling an AI: “Find me the best flight to London next week,” and it actually figures out how to do that using different websites, compares prices, checks for availability, and books it — all on its own. That’s the power of an AI agent. This guide breaks everything down into bite-sized pieces so anyone can understand. You’ll learn:What makes an AI agent different from regular botsHow they work behind the scenes — think of them having a brain (powered by large language models), a toolkit (like APIs, apps, databases), memory, and a rulebook (your instructions).Real-life examples , like AI assistants handling customer service or helping coders debug software. How to start experimenting with automation using visual tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make — no coding required!Important safety tips — because building smart systems also means thinking about ethics, privacy, and responsibility. One of the coolest parts is seeing how multiple AI agents can work together like a team. Just like humans divide up tasks, AI agents can split up complex problems, help each other out, and get things done faster and smarter. The guide also gives you a peek into the future — where you can start building your own AI agents using development kits from big companies like Google. But here’s the key advice: start simple . Don’t jump into complex systems unless you really need to. Often, a clear instruction or a basic workflow is all you need. And if you're inspired and want to go further, the book recommends diving into "AI Agents Made Easy" — a hands-on guide to building your own digital helpers using no-code tools. In short, this pocket guide is perfect for beginners who want to understand AI agents, see how they can change the way we work, and take the first step toward building their own. Whether you're a business owner, student, or just plain curious, this is your doorway into the future of AI — and it's already here.

Have you ever wondered who actually rules the world? Where did they come from? Why do they have power? We may believe that we actually elect our leaders, but the truth is much more sinister and ancient. In actual fact, wealth and power was created over a vast period of time from within the world of the occult. Secret societies emerged within royalty and religion. Secret societies that had occult knowledge. Today we can still see traces of their original belief systems in huge business, governments, organizations, buildings, art and so much more. This is the story of the occult rulers of the world.

Munich is widely reviled today and is held up as the epitome of appeasement, but historians still debate its effects on the Second World War, as well as Neville Chamberlain's character and motivations. Some believe the attempted appeasement of Nazi Germany hastened, or even caused, the mayhem occupying the next seven years. Others believe that the pact merely failed to alter war's inevitable arrival in either direction. Historians and authors alternately interpret Chamberlain as a bumbling, arrogant fool, a strong-willed statesman who simply miscalculated the nature of Hitler and Nazi Germany, or even a man with dictatorial ambitions surreptitiously inserting himself into the Fuhrer's orbit and prevented from further damaging democracy only by his fall and death from bowel cancer. Another possible interpretation, with considerable documentary support, asserts Chamberlain wished to enlist Germany's aid against the state most Europeans perceived as the true threat of the era, the Soviet Union.
Europe’s attempts to appease him, most notably at Munich in 1938, failed, as Nazi Germany swallowed up Austria and Czechoslovakia by 1939. Italy was on the march as well, invading Albania in April of 1939. The straw that broke the camel's back, however, was Germany's invasion of Poland on September 1 of that year. Two days later, France and Great Britain declared war on Germany, and World War II had begun in earnest. Of course, as most people now know, the invasion of Poland was merely the preface to the Nazi blitzkrieg of most of Western Europe, which would include Denmark, Belgium, and France by the summer of 1940.

On 22 May 2017, a bomb exploded in the middle of a crowd of young fans leaving an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena. Twenty-two people were killed and hundreds more were injured.

Saffie-Rose Roussos, aged eight, was the youngest victim to die in the attack. She had been at the concert with her mother, Lisa, and her elder sister, Ashlee.

While Ashlee’s injuries were not life-threatening, Lisa was so badly hurt doctors gave her a fifteen per cent chance of survival and a ninety per cent chance of being paralysed from the neck down if she did survive. Lisa would spend six weeks in a coma and only learned Saffie was gone when she regained consciousness.

As the bomb went off, Saffie’s father Andrew was outside waiting to pick up Lisa, Ashlee and Saffie, with his son Xander. He heard the explosion and embarked on a desperate, terrifying search for his wife and daughters through a city that was now more like a war zone.

Saffie is Andrew and Lisa’s story, one of unimaginable suffering and heartbreak as the family faced down a nightmare but also a story of inspiration, courage and optimism, as they search for happiness and meaning in their lives, whilst fighting MI5 to reveal what they knew about the bomber.

Most of all, though, this is a story of love, for each other and for Saffie, and how she was their guiding light in the very worst of times.

Political decisions have the potential to greatly impact our lives. Think of decisions in relation to abortion or climate change, for example. This makes political legitimacy an important normative concern. But what makes political decisions legitimate? Are they legitimate in virtue of having support from the citizens? Democratic conceptions of political legitimacy answer in the affirmative. Such conceptions rightly highlight that legitimate political decision-making must be sensitive to disagreements among the citizens.

Peter argues that the legitimacy of political decisions doesn't just depend on respect for the citizens' will; and defends a novel hybrid conception of political legitimacy, called the Epistemic Accountability conception. According to this conception, political legitimacy also depends on how political decision-making responds to evidence for what there is most reason to do. The Grounds of Political Legitimacy starts with an overview of the main ways in which philosophers have thought about political legitimacy, and identifies the epistemic accountability conception as an overlooked alternative. Considering the norms that should govern political debate, it examines the role of experts in politics, and probes the responsibilities of democratically elected political leaders and as well as of citizens.
