Sinopse

Wyatt Morgan is going into heat at the worst possible time—right as he's about to go on his first vacation since he started his floral shop six years ago. Landlocked, Wyatt faces a choice. Either he forfeits his deposit and stays home, or he finds an alpha to take care of his heat for him. It is not an easy choice, but with that with that much money on the line, Wyatt's not about to let his vacation go to waste.

Playboy alpha Gage Weston is under constant pressure by his pack to find a mate and produce an heir, but even if it's for his own good, Gage won't let anyone tell him what to do... at least, until headstrong omega Wyatt Morgan walks into his life, deeply in heat and need of a favor. Gage is more than happy to oblige.

But when Wyatt walks away after their encounter, he's traded his heat for a new set of problems. He's pregnant, and now Gage is on his tail, determined to make things right.

And Gage is insistent in the way that makes it hard for Wyatt to say no.

Taking the Omega's Heat is a 27k mpreg novella with a no cheating, no cliffhanger and a sweet HEA with an earnest Alpha, a grouchy omega and a second-in-command who earns his pay corralling the two into the same room.

A collection of three novels from the experimental feminist writer: “Literal Madness is Acker at her most powerful, disturbing, and provocative.” —Catherine Texier, author of Victorine

Kathy Goes to Haiti, the first of three novels in Literal Madness, “speaks to us out of a delightful mock-naivete that reminds one at times of the Dick and Jane readers rewritten as manuals for politics and sex . . . At once hilarious and terrifying, [it] has all the logic of a Caribbean tour and a nightmare combined” (Los Angeles Times).

My Death My Life by Pier Paolo Pasolini—wherein, among other things, the late Italian filmmaker solves his own murder, with the help of, among others, Romeo, Juliet, and the Bronté sisters—is a “scathing commentary on false values in art” (The Hartford Courant).

In the haunting Florida, Acker achieves “a nearly telegraphic reduction of the Bogart-Bacall movie Key Largo to fatalistic, tough-guy essentials” (Booklist).

“There’s a haunting method to Acker’s ‘madness’: a rough, raw, erudite wail against the postmodern loss of meaning and emotion.” —Kirkus Reviews

FBI Agents Cameron Ross and Andrea Sullivan found the unexpected when they met amongst the warm red rocks and cliffs of Sedona—each other. That commitment, along with their ingenuity, courage and resolve, will be tested along the most barren of stretches in California's Mojave Desert.
Someone is using the bleak highways to dump women's bodies, but in a landscape where an inviting road can curve into a sand-choked mirage, and a true oasis can be invisible under a white-hot sun, clues can blow away in the wind.
In this sequel to Devil's Rock, Gerri Hill pits two remarkable women against the harsh and bitter desert and an implacable killer.

Lost. Stolen. Forgotten… until the Alphabits step in.
    A Team A.L.P.H.A. spinoff series.
Six years ago, Lance Lancaster (no, his parents hadn’t hated him—they were just that snooty) lost the only member of his family who cared about him—his six-year old autistic half-brother, Spencer Maximillian. He’s certain the anti-shifter group protesting outside of Spencer’s school is to blame, but no one has made any progress on the case, and he’s certain everyone has given up.
Until Oswald “Ozzy” Ryder and the Alphabits pick up the cold case. Ozzy swaggered into the Maximillian mansion expecting business as usual. He didn’t expect to find a handful of adorably too-big eared fennec fox with a scent that screamed mate!
With Lance’s obsessive data collection and the Alphabits’ know-how, Lance begins to feel hope he might see his brother again. But things aren’t what they appeared, and it takes the insight of a new team member to put the team on the right track… and hope they’re not too late.
The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book—even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.
This is the fourth in the Alphabits series, and should be read in order for maximum enjoyment. You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and some violence. The team is growing, along with the complexity of their cases. Get ready for another sweet read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ readers only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?
