Sinopsis

When Dyson chances upon a mysterious gold coin in the dingy backstreets of London, he is unknowingly drawn into a sinister tale of strange stories, and false agents. Who are the three individuals that continually dog his and his friend's path, always on the search for an elusive man in spectacles? Three impostors, always ready with a tale as grim as it is fantastic?  
An episodic horror anthology in the form of a novel, The Three Impostors was first published in 1895 by Arthur Machen, and several of the stories therein have been cited as inspirations for some of HP Lovecrafts work.
