Beschreibung

In "Nicomachean Ethics," Aristotle embarks on a profound exploration of moral philosophy, presenting a systematic framework for understanding the nature of the good life. Through a meticulous examination of virtue ethics, the text articulates the concept of eudaimonia (flourishing) as the ultimate aim of human existence. Aristotle employs a methodical approach, emphasizing the importance of character and the role of rationality in ethical decision-making. His literary style combines empirical observation with philosophical rigor, making it a seminal text in both ethics and moral psychology that has influenced countless philosophers throughout history. Aristotle, a towering figure of ancient Greek philosophy, was a student of Plato and tutor to Alexander the Great. His diverse experiences and keen observation of human behavior deeply informed his ethical theories. Writing in the context of a rapidly evolving Athenian democracy, Aristotle sought to provide a framework that addressed both individual moral conduct and the social dimensions of ethics, thus bridging personal integrity with communal responsibility. "Nicomachean Ethics" is essential reading for anyone interested in the foundations of Western philosophy. Its insights into virtue and practical wisdom remain relevant, inviting contemporary reflection on moral character and ethical living. This work not only challenges readers to pursue a meaningful life but also equips them with the intellectual tools necessary for navigating the complexities of human morality.

"The Age of the Great Whore-Reformation" is not a book for the faint of heart—it's a fearless cultural autopsy. Through biting truth, unapologetic critique, and disturbingly honest analysis, this book explores the modern woman's journey from sexual liberation to spiritual monetization. From Instagram repentance to OnlyFans conversions, from porn star to prophetess, we are witnessing the rise of women who trade lingerie for long skirts—only to wear faith like a brand.
This is the brutal tale of performative repentance, where religious imagery replaces erotic content, and "modesty" is sold with the same thirst as sin once was. But more than that, it's a lament for the forgotten faithful—the pure, the disciplined, the unseen women who are ignored while the reformed are rewarded. This book investigates how masculinity must be earned, while femininity is merely reclaimed, repackaged, and sold again.
Part social critique, part psychological profile, part spiritual warning—this book dives into:The cultural commodification of redemptionThe new market of religious influencersThe silence of true repentance versus the noise of rebrandingWhy real love, trust, and femininity are disintegratingWhat happens when shame becomes strategy
If you've ever asked why the world celebrates the fallen who rise with followers, but never honors the ones who never fell—this is your book.
Darkly humorous, dead serious, and disturbingly true—"The Age of the Great Whore-Reformation" holds up a mirror. Whether you see repentance, rebranding, or both is up to you.

The Myth That Made Us exposes how false narratives—of a supposedly post-racist nation, of the self-made man, of the primacy of profit- and shareholder value-maximizing for businesses, and of minimal government interference—have been used to excuse gross inequities and to shape and sustain the US economic system that delivers them. Jeff Fuhrer argues that systemic racism continues to produce vastly disparate outcomes and that our brand of capitalism favors doing little to reduce disparities.

Rather than merely laying blame at the feet of both conservatives and liberals for aiding and abetting an unjust system, Fuhrer charts a way forward. He supplements evidence from data with insights from community voices and outlines a system that provides more equal opportunity to accumulate both human and financial capital. His key areas of focus include universal access to high-quality early childhood education; more effective use of our community college system as a pathway to stable employment; restructuring key aspects of the low-wage workplace; providing affordable housing and transit links; supporting people of color by serving as mentors, coaches, and allies; and implementing Baby Bonds and Reparations programs. Fuhrer emphasizes embracing humility, research-based approaches, and community involvement as ways to improve economic opportunity.

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, influencing various aspects of life, including attention, focus, and emotional regulation. One of the most challenging and often misunderstood aspects of ADHD is impulsivity. Impulsivity can manifest in many ways, such as making snap decisions, acting without fully considering the consequences, or responding to emotions before thinking them through. These behaviors, while common for those with ADHD, can lead to difficulties in personal relationships, work environments, and overall life satisfaction. This book seeks to provide strategies and insights for managing impulsivity, particularly in the context of quick decision-making and emotional responses.

For individuals with ADHD, impulsivity is not merely a matter of poor decision-making—it is deeply rooted in the neurological underpinnings of the condition. The brain’s inability to regulate certain executive functions, such as impulse control, makes it harder for individuals to pause and think before acting. This can result in a range of consequences, from minor mishaps to more significant interpersonal or professional challenges. However, understanding the science behind impulsivity is only part of the equation. Recognizing how these impulses affect daily life and learning how to manage them is crucial for building a healthier, more balanced existence.

This book explores how impulsivity manifests in everyday situations and how individuals with ADHD can learn to identify these moments of unregulated emotional responses or hasty decisions. It delves into the emotional impact that impulsivity can have, discussing how heightened emotions can both drive impulsive actions and result from them. The goal is to provide tools that allow for greater self-awareness, self-control, and emotional resilience, helping readers to slow down and consider their actions more thoughtfully.

These three titles are included in this 3-in-1 bundle:
1 - The ability for the brain to encode, store, and recall information is known as memory. Experience serves as a roadmap for future action.
Memory includes both consciously recalled facts and experienced details as well as deeply embedded knowledge that pops up without thought or even awareness. It serves as both a temporary information storage space and a more lasting record of what has been learned. Scientists have identified several different types of memory, including episodic, semantic, procedural, working, sensory, and prospective memory.
From the vivid memories of episodic memory to the practical knowledge of procedural memory, each type of memory has a specific purpose.
2 - Your subconscious is a priceless potential repository of information, insight, and wisdom. But the majority of us never use that talent to its fullest.
Using hypnosis, you can access your subconscious. You can communicate with it immediately when under hypnosis. This can assist you in obtaining important knowledge and bringing about positive changes in your life.
Your subconscious is the area of your mind that generally escapes your awareness yet has a significant impact on how you live.
For instance, your subconscious has a role in controlling such essential bodily processes as breathing and heartbeat.
3 - The study of the anatomy and operation of the nervous system and the brain is known as neuroscience. To map the brain mechanistically, neuroscientists draw on cellular and molecular biology, anatomy and physiology, human behavior and cognition, and other fields.
Each neuron, or brain cell, in an adult human has an estimated 100 billion connections to other neurons.

Ian Lancaster Fleming (May 28, 1908 to August 12, 1964) was an English writer, best known for his James Bond series of spy novels, and his only children's novel, Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang. Fleming came from a wealthy family connected to the merchant bank Robert Fleming & Co., and his father was the Member of Parliament (MP) from 1910 until his death on the Western Front in 1917. Fleming himself was heavily involved in British intelligence during World War II. Raymond Thornton Chandler (July 23, 1888 to March 26, 1959) was an American novelist and screenwriter. His first novel, The Big Sleep, was published in 1939. All but one of his eight novels have been made into motion pictures. Chandler had an immense stylistic influence on American popular literature, including pioneering the hardboiled school of detective fiction. The protagonist of his novels, Philip Marlowe, is considered by some to be synonymous with "private detective." The following recording is from the late 1950s.
