Sinopsis

This four-book-bundle contains:

Alpha Werewolf & The Midnight Ritual

When Dragus is given a mission to figure out the cause of villagers disappearing from their homes, he doesn’t think much of it beyond the usual suspects. He intends to make short work of them. The last thing he expects, after the task is done and he enjoys the feast that is thrown in his honor, is to wake chained to an altar.

WereRabbit Problems & Professor Werewolf

Nuala is a rabbit shifter, a prey animal surrounded by predator shifters who think she's sleeping her way to the top. Nuala just wants to keep a low profile, focus on her studies and graduate. But the rumors spiral out of control when she has no choice but to confront an entitled Lion Shifter who thinks he can just take what he wants by offering to pay her.

Alpha Werewolf & DragonFire Burns

William toes the line between beast and man better than most. He keeps his territory safe. Nothing ever happens in the quiet Shifter town. That changes when Hunters storm into town, armed to the teeth and setting illegal traps everywhere. They're hunting something, that much is clear, but they are all being remarkably tight-lipped about what exactly it is that they're hunting. He soon finds out.

Imprisoned Mage, Evil Spirits, & Alpha Werewolves

When Jack’s niece catches a magical illness, the Alpha Werewolf has to seek help from a specialized unit within the government where all mages are imprisoned. He has been warned to stay away from magic users his entire life, but his first encounter with the beautiful young mage causes him to fall and fall hard. He has never wanted anything more in his life.

~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
When the food arrives, he brings them up to the guest bedroom, following the sweet scent to the closed door. He glares at it for a moment, his hackles rising for having to knock the door and announce himself in his own home.
"Come in," Peter says the same moment he hears a surprised squeak from the young mage.
He opens the door and pauses there, tilting his head slightly at the sight in front of him.
Peter is in the middle of pleasuring his lover. She is pressed up against him, her back flush against his chest, hands grasping at his wrists as he fingers her.
"You want her, don't you?" he hums, unashamed. Then again, he's not the one who's naked.
She makes a frightened noise and tries to wriggle out from his grasp, but he hushes her with a low noise, mouth pressed close to her scalp.
He flinches. "You shouldn't- you shouldn't do that to her," he chides with a voice that doesn't sound like himself, too deep and too close to a growl. He sets the containers of food by the table, expecting them to get to it when they are done, but his gaze never leaves the lovers.
Peter chuckles. "She likes it," he says. "She's all soft and innocent, but she can take more than you know. She likes you too," he says and laughs at the look of disbelief on his face. "Mina doesn't talk to anyone but me," he says.
"Peter," she whimpers, trying to close her legs together, her inner thighs clenching, body tensing with the effort. The chains prevent her from parting her legs too wide apart, but his hands on her inner thighs are enough to keep them from closing together completely.
    "Ravishingly beautiful."—Joshua Ferris, New York Times
    A slender novel of epic power and the winner of the Booker Prize 2024, Orbital deftly snapshots one day in the lives of six women and men traveling through space. Selected for one of the last space station missions of its kind before the program is dismantled, these astronauts and cosmonauts—from America, Russia, Italy, Britain, and Japan—have left their lives behind to travel at a speed of over seventeen thousand miles an hour as the earth reels below. We glimpse moments of their earthly lives through brief communications with family, their photos, and talismans; we watch them whip up dehydrated meals, float in gravity-free sleep, and exercise in regimented routines to prevent atrophying muscles; we witness them form bonds that will stand between them and utter solitude. Most of all, we are with them as they behold and record their silent blue planet. Their experiences of sixteen sunrises and sunsets and the bright, blinking constellations of the galaxy are at once breathtakingly awesome and surprisingly intimate.
    Profound and contemplative, Orbital is a moving elegy to our environment and planet.
    This sequel to Dumas' “Marguerite de Valois” begins four years after the sudden death of King Charles IX and succession of his brother Henry III. The reign of King Henry III was plagued with rebellion and political intrigue due to the War of the Three Henries, where his regency was challenged by King Henry of Navarre (leader of the Huguenots) and Henry I, Duke of Guise (leader of the Catholic League). Dumas weaves two main storylines through this turbulent backdrop: one of the love ignited between le Comte de Bussy and la Dame de Monsoreau, and another of the friendship between King Henry III and his truly unique jester, Chicot (Jean-Antoine d'Anglerais). - Summary by jvanstan
    Four American debutantes attend a renowned Paris cotillion in #1 New York Times bestselling author Danielle Steel’s captivating new novel.
    It’s the summer of 1959 and the Palace of Versailles is hosting an event that will make history. It is an exclusive dusk-to-dawn ball in which a select group of American and French debutantes will be presented to international society and royalty. Four young women, each with something to prove, receive
    what some see as the invitation of a lifetime.
    Amelia Alexander, who hopes to eventually go to law school, hesitates to participate in what she sees as an archaic and privileged tradition. But her indomitable widowed mother, Jane, who’s struggled financially and sacrificed for a career, encourages her to attend. Jane would do anything for Amelia
    to have the chance at a happily ever after.
    Felicity Smith is equally uncertain about the ball. Although her family is prominent in the Dallas social scene, Felicity prefers to keep to herself, avoiding the older sister who torments her. But to get out of her sister’s shadow, Felicity decides to accept. If it’s a success, the tables will have turned at last.
    For Caroline Taylor, the beautiful ingénue and daughter of Hollywood legends, the ball is an irresistible opportunity. But an unexpected heartbreak just before she leaves for France gets things off to a bad start.
    Then there’s Samantha Walker, an art history major with an overprotective father. Her excitement about the invitation is overshadowed by the emotional and physical effects of a past tragedy that still haunts her.
    For all these young women, Paris and one transcendent night will change their lives forever. Bestselling author Danielle Steel extends an invitation to all in The Ball at Versailles.
