Steel in her eyes, she marched towards the office where she knew Mr. Rowan was waiting for her. He was as perfect as she remembered him. She was early enough this time that she had caught him unprepared and he was glaring at Kent's file like it was a personal affront. "I have lived through this day four times now, Mr. Rowan," she said apropos of nothing. It was only once the words were out of her mouth that she realized she should have some sort of proof. He sat up straight, his expression brighter than she had ever seen. "You've discovered your blessing," he said, figuring out immediately what took her four lifetimes work out. "You've lived through this day four times?" he asked and then frowned. "How did you die?" he demanded.
