Sinopsis

"Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful."

Step into the dark heart of the Romantic era with Mary Shelley's masterpiece, Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. This edition presents the raw, shocking, and profoundly philosophical original 1818 text, before later revisions softened its edges.

Driven by ambition, the brilliant but arrogant scientist Victor Frankenstein defies nature and creates life. But the being he animates is not a god but a creature, an intelligent and sensitive soul rejected by its creator and condemned by humanity. What follows is a tragic, terrifying pursuit that explores:

The Ethics of Science: Where is the line between genius and madness?

The Nature of Humanity: Who is the real monster—the creation or the creator?

Gothic Horror: A chilling atmosphere, complex narrative, and relentless sense of dread.

A foundational work of both science fiction and Gothic horror, Frankenstein remains one of the most influential novels ever written. If you crave a classic that chills, thrills, and makes you question the very core of civilization, this is an essential read.
