Sinopsis

An ancient emperor’s spirit – it wants to live forever in this modern world. A Half Immortal with Supernormal Power and her team need to stop it.
In Bama, a flying head has been killing men and sucking out their vital essence. Is this the work of a female ghoul? Or the spirit of Qin Shihuangdi, the cruel First Qin Dynasty Emperor of ancient China?	The spirit has possessed Bama’s premier for three years. Now it seeks a younger body to possess and has chosen the premier’s eldest son.	Dreamy Kim woke up from a lightning strike-induced coma and assumes her role as a Half Immortal with Supernormal Power. She and her semi-divine animal assistants – a shrewd, telepathic cat and a psychic talking parakeet – are recruited to stop the evil spirit. She is also assisted by a practical private investigator. In the course of her investigation, Kim has to interview a ghost. She needs to unseal the memory of the only witness of a spirit summoning ritual. She must also find the missing yang soul of the premier. And in a spy-vs-spy game, she finds out that things don’t always turn out as planned…

The name of Dunstan Vardis had become almost legendary in the underworld since his escape from prison five years ago. In some secret and mysterious way he had developed a sure-fire method of hiding wanted criminals. Every killer in the underworld came to Dunstan Vardis for protection.
“Just a minute, Mr. Klaw!” a photographer begged. “Stand still for a second, will you?”
The man raised a bulky camera to his eye and sighted through the periscope. He had his finger on the lever to click it down. Before he could do so, Stephen Klaw took his right hand from his pocket. There was an automatic in it. Without wasting a fraction of an inch of motion, Klaw fired from the hip.
The shot echoed and re-echoed like thunder in the vaulted train-shed. The slug smashed square into the camera, driving through the box and embedding itself in the photographer’s skull.
