Have you ever thought that maybe you didn’t belong? Have you ever looked around at your family members and thought, there is no way I am related to these people? Both Peter Frazier and Trent Lockley thought this about the families they were born into. Two boys, the same age, miles apart. They are both from small Texas towns, born in the same hospital, on the same day. However, their lives turned out to be nothing alike. The Frazier family is a large, lively bunch. The fact that they are close-knit and share every detail of their lives with each other always seemed a little strange to Peter. Although he loves every one of his six siblings and his overly affectionate parents, he couldn’t help but feel out of place around them. Trent Lockley is an only child born to abusive parents and spent most of his life posing as a punching bag for the town drunks. As he grew into a young man, his anger grew with him. Trent got in a lot of trouble as an adolescent. He would start fights at school frequently, and once he grew up and got even bigger than his drug addict father, he started fights at home. It is the summer of 1996; the Frazier family is preparing for Peter’s High School graduation, and Peter is a little nervous because he has yet to make any plans for his future. He always figured that once he turned eighteen, he would hit the road and never look back, but now that the day is here, he isn’t so sure. The idea of leaving his family, mainly his baby sister Tallulah behind now scares him.Right before the two strangers turn eighteen, they cross paths. Trent has somehow managed to wiggle his way into the Frazier’s life, and Peter becomes suspicious of this newcomer and starts to question everything about him. The rest of the Frazier family seem to be blinded by Trent’s charm and simply adore him. A dark cloud is hovering over the once perfect household. At every turn, the Frazier family get nothing but devastating news. Peter is not sure what this Trent character is capable of, but since his arrival, everything has gone wrong, so he must have something to do with it. Peter starts to piece the puzzle together but is it too late? Once the truth is discovered, Peter starts to realize that his family doesn’t actually suck as much as he initially thought.Ver libro

Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett was born into a very unusual situation in 1878. He was the eldest scion of a family that had lived in the oldest castle in Ireland since its construction in 1180 CE, and became the 18th Baron Dunsany in 1899 at the age of 21, when his father passed away. He was a soldier, lord, military trainer, propaganda writer, activist, and invented Dunsany’s Chess, in which one player has four ranks of pawns and no other pieces. He published mostly first drafts, writing short stories, fantasy novels, plays, and poems, with over 90 publications in his lifetime. A horseman, hunter and pistol champion whose family and friends were deeply involved in what came to be known as The Troubles. A man court martialled for supporting the Irish War of Independence, who raised toasts to the King in years to come, and worked with W. B. Yeats and Lady Gregory. The list of those luminaries who acknowledge a debt to Dunsany is absurdly long. Lovecraft saw him on a speaking tour and wrote “There are my 'Poe' pieces and my 'Dunsany' pieces – but alas – where are my Lovecraft pieces?”. Tolkien gave a friend The Book of Wonder in order to help prepare for working on the Silmarillion together. Neil Gaiman, Arthur C Clarke, Ursula Le Guin, Guillermo del Toro, CL Moore, Jack Vance, Michael Moorcock and David Eddings were all influenced by Dunsany’s writings, making him much like the Velvet Underground (“Not that many people listened to them, but everyone that did started a band” – paraphrase from David Bowie)Ver libro
Gruff Garrett, the old and aging US Marshal has one last job to do. It's a routine task that was tailor made to fit his advancing age. Garrett was tasked with going to the small mining town of Blue Rock, and picking up a captured outlaw by the name of John Bryan. At first glance, it seems like a routine enough assignment, a fitting sendoff for an aging US marshal like himself. It shouldn't be so hard for an old timer like Garrett to do, and it seems like the perfect assignment for Garrett to go out on a positive note. All this changes, however, when Garrett realizes that John Bryan is really his old rival Paolo Dixon, a sly aging outlaw that has a rough history with Garrett. The two old nemeses meet, and tensions run high. Garrett has to escort his old nemesis back to the marshals where he can stand trial for his crimes, but it won't be that simple. Dixon keeps ranting that his gang the 'Poison Club' is out to rescue him and will stop at nothing and kill anyone who tries to stand in their way. Aside from them, there are other men that Dixon has made enemies with who are also out to get him. Garrett will have to decide whether it's still worth it to finish his job and protect his old nemesis. How far is the old lawdog willing to go, just to uphold the law?Ver libro

"Global Dictator Handbook" is a satirical, dystopian narrative that uses humor to critique the extreme nature of dictatorship. It serves as a cautionary tale about the erosion of freedoms and rights, reminding readers to cherish their freedom and autonomy. This book's exaggerated scenarios and tongue-in-cheek comedy make it a compelling read for those interested in playfully educating themselves and others about the authoritarian regime that openly states its desire to enslave the entire world under the guise of a global credit score. The "triple threat title" that this book offers are: 1. That you will be enslaved by the New World Order. 2. That The New World Order will be overthrown and judged by you. 3. That the God of the Bible has already won every battle and would love your voluntary alignment with his will as the Author and Finisher of all stories. I pray this satire invites you to invite and trust him, who is faithful and proves that he is outside of our time domain by writing history in advance. The biblical prophetic commentary that we eventually run into is that of my best understanding as an author, and I reserve the right to be wrong about everything. I encourage anybody to search out these things for themselves and make their own convictions about biblical, government and world events. Master FEWNU, The personification of the one million billionaires who plan to enslave the 8 billion global residents, is my playful, creative way of personifying the road to hell that was paved by (some) good intentions of people who nobody voted for. Cheers to your playful reverse psychology education!Ver libro
