Sinopse

Volume One. This first part includes the canonical issue and the Code of Communication which is widely described by Pope Benedict. The juridical institution of pope emeritus doesn't exist and, for nine years, Benedict XVI repeats: "There can be only one pope", but never specifies which one. In the Declaratio in which Ratzinger "resigned" in February 2013, authoritative Latinists quickly identified errors and imperfections in syntax, but Benedict XVI confirmed, in 2016: "I wrote the Declaratio in Latin in order to avoid making mistakes". Is it possible that all these oddities originate from a cultured and unassailable theologian, not to mention a refined Latinist? And even if pope Benedict really wanted to abdicate, why would he continue to live in the Vatican, wearing a white cassock, maintaining the pontifical name and other privileges of the reigning pope? After two years of research, patiently undertaken through over 200 articles in Libero, ByoBlu, RomaIT, this enormous mosaic has been methodically and logically recompiled piece by piece. The scenario that emerges is shocking, of millennial importance and has not been denied by anyone, not even by the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI, who emerges as one of the greatest pontiffs in history. Through his subtle communication, "the Ratzinger Code", that resembles the style of Jesus Christ, he reconciles us with the Logos, the logic that reveals the truth, in particular to his canonical situation. The first "participatory investigation" in history has been enriched both by courageous professionals as well as by contributions from readers. A work intended for non-believers and the faithful alike. And for all those that love the truth.

Theology can be intimidating. Perhaps questions like these have kept you from engaging with it: “What is theology?” “Who does theology?” “What happens if I get something wrong?” Theology can be intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be. Whether conversations about theology have felt out of reach, over your head, or irrelevant, consider this book an invitation to the dialogue. The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, a never-ending pursuit, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself. Authors Jen Wilkin and J. T. English invite you to become not merely a consumer of theology, but a contributor to the conversation, and to grow in faithfulness to the Great Commission’s call to make disciples. You are a theologian. You Are a Theologian addresses theological questions such as: Who is God? The Doctrine of the Trinity What is God like? The Attributes of God What is the Bible? The Doctrine of Scripture Who are we? The Doctrine of Humanity What went wrong? The Doctrine of Sin What has God done? The Doctrines of Christology, Atonement, and Justification To whom do we belong? The Doctrine of the Church How does the story end? The Doctrine of Last Things

Help children find their identity in Christ so that they have a positive and realistic view of themselves. Useful for any stage of parenting. As kids grow up, they hear many conflicting messages about how they can define themselves. For example, they are told that they can define themselves by their achievements, popularity, sexuality, morality, or gender, or by how they feel. This warm, realistic, and sympathetic book, written by father of three and founder of Faith in Kids, Ed Drew, provides much needed biblical help for parents on this topic. It shows parents how to encourage their kids to find their identity in the fact that they are made and loved by Jesus, and it explores the implications and applications of this truth. Whether they are happy or anxious, whether they have messed up or achieved great things, children will gain a positive and realistic view of themselves, based on God’s amazing love for them, giving them confidence to live by faith in a secular world. The foundational principles in this book mean it is ideal to read in advance of or during the early stages of parenting, but it is a useful resource at any stage of a child’s life.

    What Is the Church's Mission?

How Can We Know What the Church Is Supposed to Do?
Jesus commissioned the local church to carry out a mission. Yet local churches often disagree over exactly what Jesus commanded them to do, leading them to align their mission with current political or economic trends. So what does the Bible have to say?
In this short ebook, Jonathan Leeman argues from Scripture that the mission of the church is first and foremost to make disciples—the task that each local assembly is called to do collectively—and to be disciples—the task for each individual Christian. He equips readers to obey this disciple-making mission both inside and outside the local church as they seek to follow Christ's call and make God's glory known in all the world.
