Sinopse

"The Immoralist" recounts the hero's reversal of moral conscience following an illness and a return to health that turns his physiology upside down. One character recounts the lengthy confession Michel, "the immoralist", made in front of a few friends. A scholar with little interest in the flesh, he had once married a devoted woman, Marceline, without any real love, but who had stronger feelings for him. During their honeymoon in North Africa, he falls seriously ill and fights against death in Biskra, Algeria. Contemplating the healthy young boys gives him back his zest for life, and he puts all his willpower into his recovery. The convalescent is soon a new man, attentive to his body and to the sensual world around him.

Marion Fay (1882) offers a pair of romances, each involving a match between one titled personage and one commoner. The misalliances lead to the typical strains between parental desires and romantic wishes of the young. The novel’s primary characters have such noble dispositions that Trollope was impelled to create several far more interesting minor characters who either threaten mayhem or provide amusing diversions. This is a concise summary and analysis of Hunting Prince Dracula, by Kerri Maniscalco. It is not the original book and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kerri Maniscalco. Ideal for those seeking a quick and insightful overview.
In Hunting Prince Dracula, the chilling mystery of a legendary vampire unfolds within the shadowed walls of a Romanian castle, where forensic science collides with ancient superstition. Determined to prove herself in a world that dismisses her intellect, a brilliant young investigator embarks on a journey to an elite academy for forensic studies—only to discover that the school is haunted by gruesome murders mimicking the legend of Vlad the Impaler.
As whispers of the undead spread, fear grips the castle, and bodies continue to pile up. With sharp wit, relentless determination, and the help of an equally brilliant and exasperating companion, she must separate fact from myth before she becomes the next victim. The deeper she digs into the mystery, the more she realizes that not all monsters are born of folklore—some walk among them in plain sight.
