Life is difficult for many people who face great dilemmas. For them, life can be a blur. However, this statement will be quite literal when you only put yourself in my shoes.
For years now, I have suffered. During my teenage years, I was diagnosed with an untreatable nerve condition that tragically made me lose my sight within a speck of time. Since then, I had to learn and adapt to my new way of living – as a young blind adult. Finishing school, moving onto university, and doing the things I love most. Difficult, yet I learn to manage. I experienced many a moment where I thought I could not cope anymore, I could not do it. But I rose again and tried my hardest. The blind journey took me through an unknown path as I learned ways of living a life unlike the one of an average person, but it also gave me a new perspective on the world. Now, all I can hope for is that the blurry future ahead of me is a joyful one. Experience my adventure with me and see my story through my eyes.

Edmund Emil Kemper III (born December 18, 1948) is an American serial killer convicted of murdering seven women and one girl between May 1972 and April 1973. Years earlier, at the age of 15, Kemper had murdered his paternal grandparents. Nicknamed the "Co-ed Killer," as most of his non-familial victims were female college students hitchhiking in the vicinity of Santa Cruz County, California, Kemper's murders often included necrophilia, decapitation, dismemberment and possibly cannibalism. Found sane and guilty at his trial in 1973, Kemper requested the death penalty for his crimes, however, capital punishment was suspended in California at the time, and he instead received eight concurrent life sentences. Since then, he has been incarcerated at California Medical Facility in Vacaville. The following recording is from a 1991 jailhouse tv interview.

“When you walk around a town like this, you know people were here before you, and they were probably on a much higher, grander level than any of us are.” (Bob Dylan, Rome, 2001) Bob Dylan’s near lifelong love affair with Rome started way back in 1963 when he first visited the iconic destination. He has been a regular visitor and devotee of the grand city ever since. In 1984, Dylan once again “went home” to Rome to play several sold-out shows and to breathe the air of this magnificent, historical place. Today, we are concerned with his now near historical concert and verbose press conference that took place there in July of 2001. Here is a Dylan we rarely see or hear, a Dylan clearly in love with his life, his work, and with the enchanting city in which he now sits. Written, narrated, and produced by historian, actor, author, and Dylan fan Geoffrey Giuliano, here is a must-have, once-in-a-lifetime audio encounter for any loyal Bob Dylan follower, pop culture collector, or school or university collection.
