Sinopsis

Colonial War Facts explores the wars that defined the era of colonial expansion, revealing their profound impact on today's geopolitics, socio-economic systems, and cultural identities. Understanding these conflicts is crucial for grasping world history and the roots of international relations. The book examines the motivations, strategies, and long-term consequences of colonial wars for both colonizers and the colonized, challenging narratives of inevitable Western progress.

The investigation spans from the 15th to the 20th centuries, initially defining colonial warfare and distinguishing it from other conflicts. Major sections then delve into case studies from Africa, Asia, and the Americas, offering detailed accounts of key battles and the involvement of local populations. It's unique in that it offers a comparative analysis of colonial wars across different regions and empires, exposing both shared patterns and unique characteristics.

The book concludes by analyzing the lasting legacies of these wars, including territorial disputes and economic inequalities, and how lessons learned can apply to contemporary conflict resolution. Supported by primary source accounts and statistical data, Colonial War Facts provides a comprehensive analysis useful for students, policymakers, and anyone interested in understanding the roots of current global issues.

Ideas build and destroy civilizations. Things are not going well. The need for action is now. After thousands of years of human development, our humanity seems to be intent upon disassembling itself with WOKE, Politically Correct thought police, rejected lessons from history and art, ‘book burning’, minorities DICTATING how we live and what we MUST think, riots, homelessness or helplessness and political polarizations with open conflicts and theft in our streets. How to revitalize harmonious existence, individual respect, laws equally for us all, and spirituality either via religion or constructive logic. So to create the conditions for cooperative, harmonious, self-disciplined inter-personal life: a return to greater stability of both mind and action working together for the good of communities and an increasingly interdependent World Social Family.
This building and rebuilding process will take generations, the current alternative will be humanity’s exit which would be both painful and permanent. This need not be. We each can learn so confidently form a renewal of our children’s real future but only by rebuilding our thought processes, awareness, and understanding with and through calm debate, discussion, and sharing of mind.
Industry, agriculture, and the use of both people’s time and natural abilities matter greatly: smaller could well be far more beneficial. Creating public demand to raise output and income too often leads to waste and even harm while generating wealth for a minority, too many of whom are amoral or undeserving.
What is reality other than what we decide it to be? All stems from family upbringing, mental inputs and experiences; educational practices, understood beliefs, the free flow of ideas; respecting other's thoughts, and community actions, which all coalesce into formed concepts and so beliefs. These and more build our minds, humour, fears and needs. These are the very Bricks that Build Us

This is a 2-book combo, which contains these books:
1: Naples (or, in Italian, Napoli) is the local capital of Campania and Italy's third-largest city, after Rome and Milan, with a population of 967,069 people living within the city's administrative limits since 2017. With a population of 3,115,320 people, its province-level town is Italy's third-most inhabited urbane city, and its city periods for around twenty miles outside the city walls.
Naples, established by Greeks in the first millennium BC, is just one of the world's oldest constantly occupied cities.
On the isle of Megaride, a district, referred to as Parthenope, was established in the ninth century BC. It was re-founded as Neápolis in the sixth century BC.
Naples has a long history, all the way dating back to Roman times, the outbreak of the Vesuvius, and much more. Let’s learn more about this fascinating city’s history.
2: When we think of Venice, we think of masks, canals, murals and frescoes, and little “gondoliers” with picturesque boats. Venice, indeed, has an impressive artistic history. But did you know that Venice was also, for a while, a considerably-sized empire?

Although no enduring historic records associate with the creation of Venice, the Republic of Venice's history is typically said to start at 12 a.m. on Friday, March 25th, AD 421, when authorities from Padua established the city to develop a trading center in that area of northern Italy.
The creation of the Venetian republic is said to have accompanied the starting of the church of St. James at the exact same time. Still, the church (which is believed to be that of Saint Giacomo di Rialto) dates no earlier than the l lth century, and no after the mid-twelfth century.
