That's exactly why I created this book. Think of it as sitting down for a quick coffee with someone who's excited to give you the highlights before you dive into your reading. In fact, the full title could be "5 Minutes Coffee with the Prophets, Patriarchs, Saints, Evangelists, Apostles, and other Bible figures" – but that wouldn't fit nicely on the cover! 
The Bible contains 66 books, written across roughly 1,500 years by about 40 different authors. Within these pages, you'll find histories, poems, prophecies, letters, and apocalyptic visions. For many readers, this sheer scope can feel overwhelming. 
This book offers something different: a simple, five-minute overview of each biblical book's context. You won't find complex theological arguments or detailed historical analysis here. Instead, you'll discover straightforward answers to basic questions like: 
When was this written? 
Who wrote it? 
What was happening at the time? 
Why was it written? 
What are the key themes?
