There Dorothy quickly discovers that the after-life is nothing compared to what she expected and is briskly swept up in a twisted plot of intrigue, deception and danger between the Dead Realms.      This narrative is about a young woman, Sherry; she's a smart and crisp advertising supervisor employed by Silverstone Advertising Agency. She became captivated by a computer hologram while napping at her desk at work. When at first, she brushed the experience off as a revelation of her imagination, then later realized that the mystical character may not be out of her imagination at all. After months of communicating with the mysterious hologram, it was evident that her behavior changed; and consequently, these changes were revealed by her absences from work. The employees became suspicious of her secretiveness and strange behavior and of her unusual outburst. Sherry had that far-away look in her eyes. Her well-kept secret started to affect her personal relationships. She avoided her fiancé’ While communicating with the hologram his vernacular suddenly changed in the rapidity of articulation with extreme preciseness revealing that this entity was not of this earth. The hologram answered many of Sherry’s questions. He explained that she was chosen to be visited by him. “An entity from another Universe.” Then explained his universal explanation of, Religion, Science, Parallel Universe, Quantum Physics, Mental Telepathy, and Mind Transference, revealing the reality of Life on other planets. Sherry learned the ambiguity of the awarded hologram’s “Privilege Art.”  After months of training and communicating with the hologram it was now time for her astral travel with the enigmatic entity.
The reader may wonder if Sherry was held captive; or was captivated by the... “Hologram Experience.”

Thousands of people start each day with a shot of Coffee with Jesus, the enormously popular online comic strip. Irreverent at times, yet always insightful, this volume features classic entries and all new, exclusive material that was born out of artist David Wilkie's frustration with the polarized political climate in America.
"Originally created as a one-off, single-panel comic on my blog, utilizing old advertising clip art for the main characters and Sunday school clip art for the person of Jesus, I simply enjoyed the notion of Jesus appearing at table with these people (dressed as they were and sharing coffee with them) to refute their claims of how he might vote on any particular issue, to convince them that they cannot confuse their flag with their God—to set them straight, as it were," explains Wilkie.
But it didn?t stop here. Soon the Jesus of Coffee with Jesus could be seen offering counsel to a recurring cast of characters on their personal and work lives. The characters—Carl, Lisa, Ann, Kevin and Joe—all honestly engage with Jesus about their successes and failures and wants and needs, effectively showing what conversation with God—or prayer—might look like.
Poignant, pointed, and rife with good theology, Coffee with Jesus is organized around six themes: getting to know Jesus, spiritual disciplines, relationships, culture, church, and the challenges of life. With exclusive material like twelve-panel mega-strips and "behind the strip" reflections on life, faith and art, Wilkie inventively poses answers to the perpetual Christian speculation, "What would Jesus do?"

“One of the great cartoonists of our time.” –New Yorker cartoonist Arnold Roth The remarkable story of one of America’s most prolific and beloved cartoonists, Al Jaffee, with dozens of original color illustrations. Jaffe’s career in cartooning stretches back to 1941—with early humor pieces for Timely Comics, a precursor to Marvel Comics—but the iconic artist remains best known for the brilliant Fold-In cartoons he invented at Bill Gaines’s Mad magazine in 1964. The cerebral and sardonic illustrations have inspired generations of Mad readers—including Stephen Colbert, R. Crumb, Gary Larson and Charles Shultz—to embrace a firm and healthy irreverence towards the status quo. New York Times columnist and bestselling author Mary-Lou Weisman (My Middle-Aged Baby Book) helps Jaffe tell his remarkable story.
