Every living thing with a brain has some form of Consciousness, or an awareness of who or what they are and the role they play in the universe. But few of the living really know what to do with that information.Electrons make up the first state of Consciousness. We now know that they can learn about each other and bind together for life like a marriage in what's known as 'Entanglements.' Whenever the state of one 'Entangled' electron is changed, the other one in the pair knows about it and it changes instantly to show unification. This happens instantly no matter how far away the two may be from one another. How do they know? The only answer is 'Consciousness'. From there, the forces of Nature allow the Electrons to pass their subatomic level of Consciousness up to the level of Atoms, structured out of the building blocks of the electrons, protons, etc. From there, the Atoms, or Elements are able to pass up their form of Consciousness to the molecular level. Remember the Avogadro's Number? From the molecular level, molecules are able to pass on their level of Consciousness to all living things, the 4th and highest State of Consciousness for all living things - what I call the Feedback Loop. We are all part of that loop. It's a loop because even at the highest level of Consciousness, we still use Electrons to create and transport our thoughts throughout our brains. This book is an answer to some of the greatest questions of all time and they are: 'Where do we come from?' 'Why are we here?' and 'What can we do about it?'

Coastwise examines the coastline of the British Isles as a dynamic environment and offers you an understandable explanation of how the coastline functions as a single entity. It is supported by hundreds of stunning photos and illustrations. It begins by exploring how the forces of nature combine to create its physical features (and continue to do so). This is a multifaceted story that involves ancient geology and powerful ocean forces. It then turns to the living nature of the coast, covering the unique plants, animals and other organisms whose interdependence keeps the coast alive and healthy. These amazing creatures are described and displayed in full colour. The third part of the book looks at how humans have interacted with the coast, using it for defence, commerce and leisure. It explores these aspects from the earliest times to the present day. The final section shows, for each coastal region, where the features discussed in the book can be observed and enjoyed, giving you a practical way of exploring the elements described in the book. All aspects of the coast are covered, making it essential reading – or a wonderful gift – for all those who spend time on Britain's coast. As Countryfile presenter, Tom Heap, says in his Foreword: "These pages are a practical love letter to Britain's waterfront and no seaside holiday home should be without them."

Resistance to malaria. Blue eyes. Lactose tolerance. What do all of these traits have in common? Every one of them has emerged in the last 10,000 years.Scientists have long believed that the "great leap forward" that occurred some 40,000 to 50,000 years ago in Europe marked the end of significant biological evolution in humans. In this stunningly original account of our evolutionary history, top scholars Gregory Cochran and Henry Harpending reject this conventional wisdom and reveal that the human species has undergone a storm of genetic change much more recently. Human evolution in fact accelerated after civilization arose, they contend, and these ongoing changes have played a pivotal role in human history. They argue that biology explains the expansion of the Indo-Europeans, the European conquest of the Americas, and European Jews' rise to intellectual prominence. In each of these cases, the key was recent genetic change.Cochran and Harpending's analysis demonstrates convincingly that human genetics have changed and can continue to change much more rapidly than scientists have previously believed. A provocative and fascinating new look at human evolution that turns conventional wisdom on its head, The 10,000 Year Explosion reveals the ongoing interplay between culture and biology in the making of the human race.
