  The Irish police owe the French Gendarme a favour.   There is romance in the air. Paddy has fallen for Kate, a receptionist on Brayden’s yacht, the Blue Boat. 
  Alex, the male star in the movie falls for Maddie. Maddie is drawn to the handsome Capitaine Trouvenon. 
  The main action takes place against the background of the red carpet at the Cannes film festival.
