Sinopsis

Twelve years - that's how long the prophet Almustafa has been waiting for the ship that is to take him back home. The people of the City of Orphalese ask him to tell them about his insights regarding human life: work, love, death, for example. In the ensuing 26 speeches, he does just that. Ever since its first publication in 1923, millions of copies of  "The Prophet" were sold, making it one of the best sellers in spiritual literature.
