Marie Barrett
Born Marie Moloney in Ballyhahill, County Limerick in 1951. Educated in Mount Trenchard, Foynes - a boarding school for girls run by the Sisters of Mercy. Studied English and French in UCC where the poet, John Montague, lectured at the time. His lectures on William Blake were most inspirational for this writer in particular.
